Everything I liked.

The hotel staff were all kind and helpful. Excellent location and facilities. It was my 17th trip to Oberammergau, but the best stay.. I have never had such an excellent staff during my previous trips.

We had 2 main problems. The heating in our room was very noisy so, after a while and by my request, the lady at the reception gave me another room (which had an open window and the heating was off, so it was very cold inside it and it had the bathroom door broken, so I suggest to have a spare room ready just in case). The second problem was that when I arrived I asked if I could leave the car in the park and they said I could (without adding anything else), the day after when I had the check-out they charged me with 4 euros for the parking (they hadn't told me that the day before, so I felt like I was robbed. I would have preferred to be told so the day before and maybe I would have paid those 4 euros without any problem but I didn't like the fact that they mocked me). The last thing, breakfast was very poor and not tasty at all (the waiter couldn't speak english and it was difficult to ask him for a hot beverage). I will never come here again!

It's a typical hotel in Oberammergau, it was clean with big rooms.

Fun, quirky, an overall delightful stay! The decor was playful & staff were incredibly welcoming. I'm already looking forward to coming back for a longer visit!

the only thing that the restaurant for dinner was kinda expensive that's why we ate at other restaurants near by.

The breakfast was awesome especially the fresh orange juice I could squeeze myself. And the machine too cook my eggs how I wanted to:) It was all very delicious and good quality.

The elevator which was out, however the staff got our baggage for us, no grab bars in the shower, slick shower floor you have to ask for a bath mat then everything was great

The comfortable beds, spacious rooms, towel heaters, bathroom design, quiet location, very pleasant staff, cleanliness, the view from the rooms, the restaurant and their staff, good proximity to town. They have a nice lounge area with fire place and coffee close to the reception while still having another area for breakfast in the restaurant which is large with a nice terrace.

What an amazing destination. Service was efficient and all our needs met. Meals were delicious. The township itself was gorgeous.

The pillows were uncomfortable, lots of dust under the bed. The staff at the reception was unpleasant, never smiled and was not helpful when asking questions on what to visit around. The cleaning staff did not take away the dirty plate and cup, and unplugged the electricity card while I had put stuff into the fridge. At breakfast you can not choose your table, you have to stay at a predefined table, the crumble eggs were very dry.

The room was nice. The hotel is located close to the center.

The fee for parking our car was a bit unexpected. It was not a large fee and was not at all unreasonable, but I didn't remember seeing ahead of time that it would be charged. I was happy to pay, just didn't remember it being stated, that's all. Also - not a criticism or "not like" - just be aware that the room(s) do not have air conditioning. This was not an issue for us as it was very pleasant weather, but in very hot weather a fan (or fans) would be welcome in the rooms to keep air flow through the spacious rooms!

The location in Oberammergau was extremely convenient. It was just far enough away from the city center but also close walking distance to just about anything. The staff were kind and helpful, the breakfast was very nice traditional German+ (English hot options). The room was amazing! It met all of the indicated aspects plus had additional balcony space, an extra bathroom (with shower), and a shower in the main bath we didn't expect. Really - had we known a bit more we would have shortened our stay in Munich to stay at the Landhotel Bold another night, taken in the surrounding areas a bit more and it would have been wonderful!
