Charm and history , good location not far from the main highways south of Frankfurt . a very friendly host served very good food on our romantic road trip. Thank you!

Was hard to find. We arrived at 10 pm, had to call the host, pick up thw key from the locked and then based on given directions go look for another building.

It was close to the highway and they accepted a stay with a dog.

It was exceptionally hot this year and a fan in the room would of been nice. Normal years this would not be a problem

very friendly and open to customers staff. location was perfect. close to highway and the town was very quiet. Gasthous was clean and we had all we needed. We like very much the dinner although we were late but still we were served. We appreciate it very much.

Because the shower curtain in room 1 is too short a lot of water gets past into the toilet area. As we like our coffee REALLY hot it would be nice to have had hot milk and some hot water to prewarm the cups.

The cosy atmosphere and Gemütlichkeit of the old Gasthaust is really fantastic and the breakfast was a nice and varied spread. The herb and spice infusion of the scrambled eggs made them absolutely delicious! In all it was a nice and tasty light breakfast served in a great location

We arrived late in the evening. Before the entrance there was a board with 2 telephone numbers we could call to get access to the rooms. Both numbers did not work. After communication with another guest that was staying there we got a third telephone number which finally led us to talk with a staffmember to get access to our room

We were lucky that the host was there, otherwise you have to ring. I think because we arrived on a Thursday and not busy. If you arrive late on a weekday be aware the shop shuts at 6pm and the restaurant at the gasthaus was not open, I think it's only open on the weekends. There's a small pizzeria nearby.

Fantastic peaceful location, room had great view of the surrounding hills, superb breakfast, nice garden and friendly. Grreat stop off place near A3.

We booked a room only for a night for a group of friends of four in the gasthouse. Room was clean, well equipped. There was a double bed which was very spaceous and comfortable but the sofa bed was a little narrow for two adult but all in all we are satisfied with the service. Staffs were really helpful and nice, breakfast was excellent. Hotel can give you good value for money.

We booked the hotel specifically for the charger. So we called. When we arrived we were first given the wrong key to charge. After trying 15” we called and immediately they knew what was wrong. We had to walk back to the main building to get the right keychain. We were also asked to bring it right back after using it in case someone else might need it. Which was weird as it was midnight and I wasn’t planning on getting up at 5 to unplug. At 5 I woke up and saw electricity was down. I went to look for a solution but couldn’t find anything. My car wasn’t charged at all (+30 km), in the morning it was icecold, we couldn’t wash (no electricity), phones weren’t charged and accu was flat and we couldn’t get the cable out. When we told the owner he told us he knew and would fix it. Long story short, I’m certain they knew electricity is a problem (too light or sth). If they would have told me in advance it could pose a problem I wouldn’t have booked since it was a bit far from the highway and the full battery was needed. Due to this I had to go charge for 1.5h and this means I will still be driving home with my three kids alone after midnight. Not amused at all.

Breakfast was very good in the most charming cafe and all was very fresh and neat.

In the kitchen we could not use the fridge, had towels inside which were wet, the shower curtains were stained and at the bottom were very dirty! Very unhygienic! The check out process was painful, although I paid well in advance for our stay which included breakfast, they asked for payment. Took a while for them to verify and confirm. Despite me showing the confirmation of payment on booking app, I was told that the price is not right and they proceeded to make phone calls and looking into it. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

Beautiful breakfast with freshly baked bread, tasty coffee, fresh berries and fruit among many things. Cozy and clean room. The restaurant part was also very cozy. Friendly and welcoming host.

Very cozy hotel, delicious restaurant and nice bar and excellent breakfast included in the price. The owner of the hotel helped us a lot and served us personally. We will be back next year!

Hard to find. Place was closed when we got there. Had to make a phone call then had to find a lockbox for a key to get in.. Very dark and narrow to get to room. Was told over phone restaurant was open but it wasn't. Never saw a member of staff until breakfast! The bathroom was very tiny with a sloping roof and my 6. 5 foot husband couldn't stand to do a wee and when he sat down he banged his head getting up.

Booked one night, last minute, for a break in our journey. Arrived very late (10pm) which was not a problem for the host at all. Even got served a nice local beer as the last guests of the biergarten. Beautiful location, great hospitality, friendly host. A very nice breakfast was included in the price.

We had booked a room for two adults and two children. The room we booked we did not get. The room we got was not ready upon arrival, the beds for children were not made. After complaining only one sleeping sofa was made. Only at 23:00 hours, after repeated complaints, an attempt to make the second sofa bed was made but did not fit the room. By this hour the kids were so tired they did not care any more.

After suffering a severe breakdown on the autobahn me and my father found this hotel on a whim. The hour was very late, and we were in dire need of somewhere to sleep. The search was not made easier by the fact that we had two dogs along as well. We arrived at Drei Lilien just before eleven at night, and the good feeling the small town gave us was just in line with what the taxi driver had heard about the place. Even though the hour was late, we managed to get an excellent cheese- and sausage-platter, along with some excellent beer. The room was was nice and big, and breakfast was great. A lot of care was taken in the decoration, reminding of years past
