The front desk staff was very nice. I've never seen such lovely staff. The hotel did not have an elevator but offered to carry my luggage up the stairs, which was very hard because my luggage was very heavy. If you are not used to drinking sparkling water, then be sure to buy bottled water in advance. There's a bar downstairs. I had two drinks there. It was really good.

There is no elevator so maybe not advisable for older people? A short drive to a parking garage but easy to navigate so that should not be a negative you can can figure it out.

The location is perfect and the staff is very kind and welcoming. It's a great little place and recommend! The breakfast was superb - try the pancakes or yogurt with granola - excellent. The bar / restaurant downstairs was quite popular and a great meeting place!

Being in the heart of Munich, there was a bit of external noise. But that's only to be expected and didn't impact our stay at all.

Very good location in the heart of the Old Town. Handy for the many restaurants and bars in Munich. Marienplatz station is only a couple minutes walk away so excellent for transport links. The room was very comfortable and clean. The wooden spiral staircase is very pretty.

The location, room, and bar were all great. Check in was easy and the staff was really nice.

The shower needs fixing and bathroom very small. The rooms could do with a bit of an update , however the room was clean and bed’s comfortable enough.

The location was fantastic , only a 2 mile mute walk to the main square. The manager made us feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough for us . The bar area is really beautiful and has a boutique feel to it. Amazing fresh pancakes for breakfast .

On Friday/Saturday nights there’s loud music until approx 11ish. Didn’t bother us as we were out late each night as well as earplugs provided!

Great location and really charming interior giving the place a lot of character. Staff were polite and helpful The hotel is part of the bar downstairs, we didn’t eat there but it looked very nice

The hotel was clean and friendly,it was very close to the Christmas market in Marienplatz which was the main reason for our visit.Bar prices in the hotel were a little pricey but most European city hotels are like that now. I would use this hotel again for a return visit.

Beds are twins, pushed together for a couple, not really a double bed as there is the gap in the middle and 2 mattresses. Not ideal. No elevator, which was fine for us but could be an issue for some. Old building, very small rooms but everything was tidy, clean and worked well. Room had everything we needed for a brief stay. No complaints.

Check in and out were both smooth. Staff was pleasant and nice. Location is excellent. Right in the middle of city, walking distance (2 blocks) to Christmas Market, metro and most central activities.

I took too much luggage - hauling it up the stairs was a challenge! Room was a little dated - this is reflected in the price ;-)

The hotel is very central to Marienplatz and the train. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel had a bar with good food.

Cleanliness of the bathroom. All red algae in every corner of the bathroom. A deep cleanse is long outstanding. The room was fine but didn’t invite us to hang out there.

Nothing really just very minimal if you are okay with that.

Great location for walking distances to many areas to tour. A bit noisy outside if you like sleeping with your windows open until 1am, and if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise it was quite comfortable overall .

It was quite small and very loud. My husband had a hard time using the shower and I didn’t get the best sleep, but only due to the noise. They do provide ear plugs, I just opted out.

This hotel was right in the heart of everything! Easy to walk to and from and easy to pop up to your room if you needed to charge phones, use the restroom or relax a bit before going back out.
