How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing at all
We asked for late check-in. It wasn't problem at all. The property offers self service check-in. The room was spotless clean and spacious. U-bahn station to go to Munich city is close and there's P+R parking available

Very nice hotel, clean room, free private parking, friendly staff, helpful communication before arrival, easy self check in after 8 p.m., various breakfast with many different positions to choose. We have stayed here before and will come again. Thank you very much!

being in the basement there was only a little bit of daylight. breakfast is served in your room
stayed in the basement studio . well equipped and spacious even with extra bed for our child. friendly staff, clean, new facilities. close to the highway which was perfect for us as we were just passing through. walking distance to village center and U-bahn. big private parking

The Stohr family is lovely. Their hotel was perfect for our family and toddler when our flights out of Munich airport were cancelled two days in a row. They provided a crib and helped us get a taxi both mornings. We would stay here again if we're in the area and will recommend it to all our friends and family.

Breakfast is served in room and there is no separate breakfast room. One has to book the breakfast menu the previous evening by 8pm, which is a bit odd. The reception is open only in the evening and if you arrive in the morning, you have to call the receptionist on phone. He comes promptly to assist you, but it is a bit irritating.
The location is about 10 minutes walk from the Garching Subway station. Rooms are spacious and clean.

The property doesnt have an elevator, so if you are carrying heavy luggage that is going to be a problem. Also, beware that on Sundays the reception might be closed in the afternoon, so you have to call them by phone to tell them you are there. This might be a problem if your phone doesnt work well overseas.
The breakfast is really good. A bit annoying that you have to submit your request before 8pm every day. But they were flexible a couple of times when I submit it passed 8pm.

We booked the facility with the discount for one-night stay, and everything was super good. It is located not in Munich, but in a suberb. We were tired and did not have a lot of time before our meeting in the center of Munich - we called Uber. The taxi arrived quickly, the drive was not too long and reasonably priced. There is no ultimate need to call the taxi to go to Munich though - direct metro line to the city center is in short walking distance from the hotel.

Coffee machine at the reception would be great. I had a capsule coffee machine in the room but.. no capsules - at least one would be great for the morning. My rooom was in the basement - no window, and starting from 9 am I belive strange sound of the fan (but its off for the night). For me was no problem, because I just slept there.
B&B in the small town outside Munich. Close and convinient way to/from the airport. abot 7 min walking to U6 metro station - easy access to Munich center (around 35 min). Big room, clean and quiet. You can leave your luggage and check in early (to get the keys) even if the room not ready. MOC Munich is 3 stops away, so if you have any event to visit there - just perfect place. Kitchen - well equiped you you need it. Supermarket is close by. Definitely recommended for business stay.

It was as expected, we stayed one night before getting on the plane.
This was our last stay before flying out of Munich. Everything was adequate. They bring breakfast to your room and can be to go if you are traveling.

Good location (10 min. walk from U-Bahn and 15-20 min. walk from the University campus). Clean and comfortable room. The hosts were friendly and responsive.

Breakfast in the room was delicious and so convenient, especially for solo travelers, could order different things everyday. The room was modern, comfortable and with nice shower, towels heater, smart tv and good wifi reception. Even though my room didn't have a kitchen inside I asked for a microwave and got it the day after.
