Nothing, it was perfect

Well located a 5 minute walk from the train station so very convenient for dropping your bags before exploring Munich. We were given a warm welcome by Reception and even though we had arrived an hour before check in we were able to check into our room. We were really impressed with the room - loved the decor - very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the free hot drinks available in the foyer. We only wished we had more time to spend here!

Nothing really but if I really have to add, the room would have been perfect with the provision of bath slippers. Otherwise, this is as good as it gets!

Perfect, Safe and Quiet location near the Main Railway Station or Hauptbahnhof. The Front Desk Staff has been super friendly, welcoming and most helpful especially when I had a small issue which needs immediate attention. The Duty manager at the Front Desk sent me on my way to a service provider nearby and got it done. Along the short walk there, I got to venture past the now empty Theresienwiese and the imposing Bavaria Statue, impressive! At the reception area, they have this hot drinks dispenser which we thoroughly enjoyed having, especially after coming back from a long day of cold wintry weather or during the mornings to with a hot cup of tea to start the day. They also gave me a room on the top floor which came with a pleasant surprise, a rooftop balcony. I would definitely stay here again when in Munich and having to choose a hotel near the Central station.

Nothing. With such nice personnel we didn't even try to notice what could be eventually disliked.

The personnel was highly kind and professional. They provided us with more than all needed for pleasent stay. I have rarely seen such level of kindness. 10+ from my side. The room was big and clean and of modern design. The location is perfect as we needed to catch the train very early morning. Just aside München Hbf however the street was quiet.

We had great times at Maier Hotel, everything was great: clean room, quiet zone, close to the Old Town and tasty breakfast. I totally recommend it.

Garage parking was a bit pricey, and very narrow and challenging to fit an SUV.

Excellent location, outstanding breakfast. Historic downtown is 15-20 min by foot which was perfect for us. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

There was a lot of building work going on in the area so not the fault of the hotel, just bad timing.

The neighborhood is a bit wild, with night club after night club on just about every corner. There's also a lot of construction in the vicinity, and there were sirens blaring several times throughout the night. Don't expect a quiet stay.

The staff is very friendly, and the workers at the front desk spoke English well. Even the cleaning staff greeted me as I walked by. The breakfast had lots of variety and plenty of seating. The location was very convenient for me this time, being right next to the train station, but I wouldn't want to stay in that neighborhood again.

Rooms were a little dated, but considering price it’s good value for money. Lobby is also lovely!

The style of the shower wasn’t ideal. I realise they had to work with the narrow shape of the bathroom and wanted to give customers the biggest shower stall they could - but what you ended up with was a shower that sprayed water all over the bathroom and a sharp raised corner beside the sink that I nearly broke my toe on.

Great location, comfortable room, very comfortable bed and friendly helpful staff.
