One minus: in the morning I found a big bug in the bathroom

Perfect location: oldtown is 15 min walking, a lot of cafes,restaurants and shops nearby. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast

Had issues throughout my stay with room key, had to keep getting it reprogrammed at reception which was inconvenient as I was on 5th floor. Staff said I must have had it close to a mobile however when they accompanied me to the room to try it didn’t open for them either or the housekeeper on the same floor so clearly an issue with the lock. Room service food was disappointing, curry had no sauce and chicken was dry.

Location was good Front office staff were friendly but felt they needed more support to assist with guests waiting. Manager came out from office behind reception, seen the queue but made no attempt to assist. Felt this was very poor

The gym area is a decent size and has a lot more potential with the right kit in it (needs a rack, cable machine, more dumbbells - heaviest is 14kg)

Rubbish view from room (a car park and street) although worth noting that the soundproofing was great...with the window closed you couldn't hear the outside at all

Although the room was very clean, the toilet itself smelled like the U8 in Berlin, means very bad smell of urine… I must admit that we told that to the Staff only when we left. I believe that if we had complained about it earlier they would have done their best to solve this problem.

The hotel is right on a busy street, which is good for transportation and accessibility, but it was a little noisy at times.

The hotel was easy to find, near shops and restaurants. The room was a bit minimal in terms of furniture, but everything was comfortable and clean. Nice bathroom with a rain showerhead!

a very stale cake prepared apparently for a former guest was left in my room throughout my stay; the shower gel canister was completely empty; at breakfast there was no artificial sweetener for the coffee (they brought some upon my request), no smoked salmon, and the cook gathered the ingredients for putting my my omelet with bare hands

Issues with AC. The entire place was very hot, and nothing could be done to change it. The room was even worse. We had to keep the window slightly open with 5 degree Celsius outside, to make the room more comfortable.

Not at all value for money, the cleanliness and the room cleaning was exceptionally sub-par and downright terrible. The coffee pot / kettle had some water from the previous guest already in the kettle - we stayed several days and scraps of paper etc around the dustbin or elsewhere in the room were never cleared or cleaned and the bins themselvers were not regularly picked up and emptied

The real and only selling point of the hotel was its location. A lot of restaurants, malls, shops, brands and even connectivity to the metro and public transport was absolutely fantastic. The hotel by itself though....not so much....

Reception staff told me at 1200 noon : it's too soon to check you in, please come back later . What ?? If the room is not ready just check me in and give the key later at the published check in time. I was simply sent away with luggage in my hands This is very rude and unwelcoming. I had to insist to storage my luggage in the meanwhile. This new check in policy is CHEAP and rude. This would never have happened under the old NH management.

The hotel is in a prime location in the city center, mere steps away from the vibrant shopping hub of Zeil Street and a short stroll of just 15 minutes to Romer Square. Taxis were readily accessible throughout my stay. Moreover, they graciously accommodated my request for an early check-in and included a delightful complimentary breakfast with a generous selection. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and attentive, delivering outstanding customer service. The lounge area provided a serene atmosphere, complete with amenities such as a pool table that my son thoroughly enjoyed. Traveling from the airport by taxi typically took around 15 minutes at an approximate cost of EUR 40.
