During our three-night stay in the family room, we were particularly impressed by its functional layout. The spacious room included two bunk beds, a double bed split across two separate sectors, and a well-equipped private bathroom, which proved ideal for ensuring both privacy and family togetherness. One of the standout features was the hotel’s lounge, complete with a cozy fireplace and adjacent bar. Located a stone’s throw from the family rooms, it allowed parents a peaceful retreat while the children slept securely nearby. Although the family room lacked its direct sitting area, the close by lounge filled that gap exquisitely, especially during the colder months when the warmth of the fireplace enhanced the ambiance. Outdoor amenities at the hotel included a picturesque terrace and a sitting area, though the utilization of some parts seemed unclear. Inside, the hotel boasted excellent spa facilities including a sauna, infrared sauna, and a relaxation space that was never crowded, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. Culinary experiences were notable for their environmental consideration. The breakfast buffet was an absolute delight with a focus on sustainability, offering plastic-free dining and homemade-style foods ranging from jams to egg salads that delighted our taste buds. - The place doesn't have a gym, but this is a hotel in the mountains more used for hiking and recreation purposes so not an issue. - Would be great to have tea-coffee making facilities in the room.

Little hotel, not the fancy place, but so full of small little details that make you smile, from the amazing staff and attention to how breakfast and dinner are served. Comfy clean rooms, amazing lake views and delicious food. - The breakfast: small variety but tasting great, served in a great way and with a lot of attention from the staff - The young team of staff during afternoon-evening shift: Super nice, attentive and friendly. you are amazing, thanks a lot! - The restaurant chef during dinner is a master and the food was great. - The Fireplace-common room is a gem! With all sorts of drinks and amazing atmosphere it was a haven! We were there during spring but I believe in cold winters with a lot of snow it should be magical as well.

The family room is so nice, with 2 separate bathrooms as well, we absolutely love it. Beautiful view from balcony, just cross the road is a big park, very pleasant to walk.

We were a bit disappointed by the equipement in our bedroom (the TV in perticular), the bathroom (not very charming) and the location of it (towards the back) but these are little details in our global opinion of the hotel and definitely did not prevent us from being totally satisfied with the service and our stay at hotel Njord !

The location is amazing, a few steps away from the lake and the staff was very professional and friendly ! The breakfast was delicious and worth every penny ! We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was great as well :)

The place is co-zy! Rooms (ours was rather small but OK) with balconies among the trees, second floor lobby with sofas and a lake view, free sauna... The people working there are not many and obviously have a lot to do but nevertheless super friendly. We just needed a place to crash on our way home, and g ot unforgettable experience in the last day of vacation.
