Excellent location if the German transport system works normally. Unfortunately the day we checked out, a Sunday, the only tram going into the city was cancelled and the next tram came one and half hours later. Halfway we to the city everyone was dropped off due to technical issues and we had to find another train station and took another regional train to the city.

really bad service! 8:50 I was sleeping in the room. Someone entered in to my room without only one second knock in. As confirmed by the reception, this man is the cleaning staff(but not belong to the hotel) As I complained to the reception, no one responses me until I checked out. When I checked out in 10:30, I complained to the reception again. The reception man uses a really bad attitude and says sorry to me. It seems like I was doing something wrong and he was angry at me. To be honest, I only want a formal apology. But the reception said fake sorry and nothing with a really bad attitude! Please imagine, with such staff, how can you sleep safely and leave personal things without worry in this hotel. The bad reception in this hotel make me lose confidence in this hotel and the Accor group. I would complain to the group and I would suggest my friends and colleagues never order this hotel. If you want to have a bad mood during travel, please come to this hotel! By the way, the cleaning of the room is not so good. I found the kettle in the room have some water left which looks disgusting and dirty. I had to ask the reception for a new kettle.

The room seemed small, dark and decorated in depressing greys. Everything looked old and shabby - not matching the **** pricing. The bathroom was particularly small, it was very difficult to enter the bathtub. But the worst was the air-conditioning - barely working (so the temperature in the room exceeded 24 degrees), and releasing unpleasant smell at times.

The staff was competent and very friendly. The location close to A1 highway was convenient. Breakfasts were tasty. The swimming pool was clean and availably early morning. The room was good enough for a one night stay.

Great value for money overall, the breakfast seemed unreasonably too pricey.

Lovely welcome, helpful staff, clean, great facilities. Comfortable room. Actually working sauna and a nice (small) pool to cool down. 24/7 bar! Lot of facilities around the hotel, shops etc.

Without communication in advance of the closure for maintenance of the pool, sauna and gym the morning we left. Which were the facilities we chose the hotel for… got a drink voucher as a compensation after complaining … planning of maintenance should be between 12 an 15h, between check-out and check-in and not between 8 and 12. We don’t understand why they want people to sit for dinner in the bar area which is cramped, unpleasantly decorated and without natural light… We refused and got a table in the regular dining area which is much more pleasant with the natural light and plants.

Quiet rooms (had a room at the side away from the main road) with good beds and excellent breakfast buffet. Nice sauna (when it is available…).

Nothing to do with the hotel but at the moment we were there, the tram line 7 that is the main and useful connection to the city center was with repairs. That made our commuting to the center of Cologne a bit less comfortable and we ended up using a lot freenow and taxis (including an unpleasant experience with a local taxi driver that wanted to scam the tourist...). So, few advice for fellow travelers: - Don't be discouraged for the distance from the hotel to the city center, with the tram you are in no time and comfortable in the city center (the stop is just 5 mins walk from the hotel). - Always check the transport pages to be up to date with works, etcetera... - Don't trust local taxi drivers. Always use an app with a closed prices for your trip. Really disappointed with that.

The hotel was really good. Really nice rooms and beds. The breakfast was superb, plenty of choices and they never run out of anything. The staff was always courteous and really helpful, they make you feel that you are in a high standard hotel. I used the swimming pool and sauna and they are really well maintained and clean and a joy to use. They are not massive but it is perfect for recreational use.

The bed was wonderful. The rooms were adequate. Exactly what I expected. The hotel had a parking space which I could use for free. There are possibilities to do some shopping in the area. Cologne city center is only a tram ride away and a station is just a walk away. Saves you all the hassles of finding a parking space in the city center.

At arrival the reception insisted that I should pay extra and I refused. I do not remember the amount but the total was considerable in range of 100 to 200 EUR. It took 20 to 30 minutes until they gave me some papers in which I claimed that the travel is for business and I introduced our VAT number. The receptionist must be up to date and know all the rules and regulation otherwise better to be quiet and listening.

Disappointed, I asked the reception (lady on the phone from reception) by roomservice 2- 3 dl milk and sugar to deliver to the room. They brought creama powder. Its not the same. For excellent customer service they could do better if they put more effort on the case and not rush to put the phone on me. I did not wish in free even we had breakfast paid and we didnt . We needed milk. It is pretty simple request.

Price of breakfast is a bit too expensive. Sheets are not very breathing and caused overheating and sweating. Shower in a bath tub is tricky and causes sliding and falling.

Terrible pillows. We had to ask for another, and still were uncomfy. The electrical sockets are not all next to bed - only one. So not practical. Paying €10 for the parking/per nigh was the senseless abuse. I find €21 for breakfast also exaggerating - I understand they want to compensate for the losses during Covid, but this is not fair. Definitely not a nice memory to look forward to going back to this so-called hotel. If you just need a place to sleep desperately, go ahead and book it. Otherwise, better pay a higher price elsewhere but at least with less abusive policies. No excuses accepted. They are merely superficial. Thanks.

Cleanliness was good, though there was a chemical smell in the bathroom - old I guess. Staff was professional, though some of them not very warm and client-oriented. The beds were comfortable but not the pillows. Unfortunately I cannot think of anything else good.

Location is a bit far off from the center, but the tram stop is nearby.

A nice comfortable hotel, clean room with a good view. A bathtub and a shower in the bath. Very eco-aware. Good price.

Hotel is nice and clean. Staff are friendly and really helpful. Great location, close to autobahn. Room has everything what you need, even a little fridge. Beds are really comfortable. I would definitely visit again.
