The front of the building is covered in graffiti and scaffolding, creating an impression of an insalubrious location. The photos show communal breakfast and coffee areas. These do not exist. The pillows were super thin and lumpy. The toilet had not been properly cleaned, continuing to smell of stale urine throughout our stay. There was a poo (probably dog) that sat in the middle of a stairway for about 3 days. The booking was supposed to be for non-smoking accommodation. It was very clear that nearly every room near us were smoking in their rooms, which permeated the hallway; worse yet, the room below us were also smoking and it came straight through the heating system into our room. Reception claims to be available most of the day, but in fact seems to be attended from afar, meaning that when you need to speak to reception it is unlikely they are there, there is a permanent note on the door saying they'll be back in 15 minutes and the contact phone number on there didn't work.

The price was what attracted me to the property. The public transport options from the hotel were numerous and generally easy to follow. The water pressure and hot water in the shower were lovely. We were worried at first by the busy street and the thin-looking bed covers. However, the windows are excellent noise-cancellers, and the covers, although thin, proved to be very warm. When available to speak to, the reception staff were knowledgable about the local area.

The room wasn’t hygienic. The walls are full of mold, somehow they’re building another building on the backside where one of the room windows goes into the other building. Not a good choice but we booked on short notice and found nothing better on low budget anymore.

There’s not much to like. It was cheap but it wasn’t good.

Good place if you are just staying for 1 day and not planning to be there for a long time. The location is good, was close to the venue of the event I was attending, also close to city center. The staff was friendly. And there was a fan in the room, which was helpful since it was +29°C outside.

Everything is really basic. Staying one night is okay. The location is fine. It is not very clean. I think it is a fair value in high season (if there is a high season in Berlin).

There was alot of work going on..The rooms were not comfortable for the price paid. Poor basic amenities..No proper drinking glasses were provided in the room. They should not accept bookings while the renovations are in progress.

It was not well cleaned and the shower was broken. We locked the door both nights we stayed and when we woke up the door was unlocked, it was very scary.

There was a curtain missing from one window. No hot water for 2 days. Adjacent fire escape was blocked and fire doors wedged open.

1) Bathroom door was broken (Somebody highlighted in older review too, and it is still not repaired). 2) Room hasn't any basic facilities like electric katel, water glass, cup or coffee maker. 3) property is little old, room wall were having humid smell (can be problematic for ashthematic patient).

Location is very close to public transport, cafes, restaurant and supermarkets.

Room is small but I was ok with it. There's a construction behind. Not enough natural sunlight in the room due to location of window. Wardrobe can be better, right now it's small and a bit dirty/dusty inside and it's stands against the bathroom door - so it's hard to open without fully closing bathroom door - but it's a minor thing not that important.

Single room: Overall, It is good option for single travelers for 2-3 days, if you will come here just to sleep and take shower, eat food outside (because there's no table). - A small room, with a bed, TV, small closet, private bathroom and 2 towels are also provided. - Location is quite good considering the price and location of other available hotels/hostels for in the same price range. - There's a room cleaning service, who does good job and changes the towels. - Room is quite clean, not the best I have seen of course. Bed and bed linen also clean. Bathroom also clean but might be better (a bit dust, etc.)
