How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No shower gel/shampoo in shower (dispenser empty). Not the greatest neighbourhood in Frankfurt, but to be expected I suppose.
Location next to station and my meeting. Decent rate. Clean. Good breakfast.

We arrived at 6:30 pm and the staff seemed unsure if Booking.com had charged us or if they should charge us. The location is about 5 minutes walk to the train station, but not a great area, seems safe but a little sketchy looking.
Everything about the room is fantastic - comfortable, clean, very nice new bedding and towels. The lobby and bar are small but very comfortable and welcoming.

The location is amazing , 2 mins walk from the Central Station and it takes 15 mins to be in the Airport. The staff is amazing and friendly and the room was very clean.

I would definitely give the hotel a 10 if it had a minibar in the room.
It is a very good option to stay near the main station. Staff is so nice and willing to assit your needs. Definitely a good balance between money and facilities.

We did have a bedroom that looked over the main road, so there was some road noise.. (we soon got used to it but initially it was a little distracting) The breakfast hot food seemed to have been sitting around for sometime, we chose not to eat it, which is a shame, as we had chosen last minute to book in for breakfast.
We arrived late evening, and were greeted by a friendly member of staff who conversed with us in English, There are plenty of places to eat close the hotel in the mornings, the room was compact and cozy, with spare pillows stored in the wardrobe. The overall cost of the property was good for the accommodation provided and was close to the Main Train Station.

Having stayed in some +15 Premier HTLs in Germany and some 10+ in UK I know what to expect, but compared to that some flaws: street noise, mostly from trams overheated bathroom if door left closed WiFi=WLAN half the time did not work properly and as expected they wanted a review after my stay-but then sent the welcome notes.
The usual Premier design-the same in any of these 100s of hotels. That includes the english style breakfast. In this area for this place the underground parking is a plus-for those who need that.

Single bed size and Duvet are quite small. Requires instructions for room cleaning. Limited sport tv options.

Breakfast seemed pricey for what it was, tv had only news channels in English but that’s just one of those things Walking up to the hotel from the train station of a night had a few shifty characters which was a little unsettling, would advise travelling up to the guterplatz on the trams and walking from there
Excellent staff, the two ladies in the daytimes were very helpful and helped us with some translations too Clean room. Good transport connections to the hotel, fairly priced for what it was

The location was perfect, not too far from the main Station (6min walk). It’s near the downtown! Staff was friendly and super nice ! I enjoyed a nice weekend in Frankfurt and in Premier Inn Frankfurt City Europaviertel !

People/men hanging around the hotel and the area, sometimes yelling.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, located conveniently close to railway station and walking distance (15min) to Frankfurt Messe.
