Everything was perfect. If I had to find a disadvantage of the room would be the glass door in the bathroom that doesn’t give much of privacy. But it didn’t really bothered us.

We had the room in the top floor with the balcony. The room was small but very cosy and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the view amazing. We really enjoyed the balcony where you could sit enjoying the view. Very well decorated both the room and the guesthouse in general. The breakfast is excellent with fresh products every day. It really feels like home. We appreciated the afternoon sweets and coffee/ tea that are offered in the common area as well as the fridge with local beer that you can get anytime. Nice garden, parking spots outside the building. The location is very good with good restaurants in walking distance and the train station and bus to Garmich.

Nothing I can think of.

The hotel is nicely situated with a great view on the mountains and a beautiful common area to relax. The room we had was beautifully furnished with a wonderful view from the window (pics). Delicious breakfast with freshly made scrambled eggs and a great choice of cheese and hams. I also enjoyed the coffee and cake served to the quests in the evenings. Wonderful host, very nice and helpful. Fully recommend.

Gastehause Richter really exceeded our expectations. We were made to feel welcome from the first moments by Soni and her family. Breakfast is exceptionally done and the rooms are well styled and perfect for lounging. Overall the trip to the mountains is much recommended and we preferred Grainau since it was less busy than Garmisch-Partenkirchen. We spent two weeks traveling through Germany and if we could do it again we would have spent most of our trip here.

Hard work and great eye for detail make this such a beautiful and comfortable place to stay. Room was v. spacious with everything we needed. Loved relaxing in the stunning garden with views of the mountains. Well located for access to lakes and town. Owners were all so friendly and helpful.

Only thing I can think of is maybe more table space to put things around, like larger bed side tables and desk.

We loved our three night stay! Location stunning. Garden gorgeous and relaxing. Bed comfortable with the best black-out-curtain which is great for sleep. The auto-light in the toilet is really convenient. Tea, coffee, hot and cold water available at all hours, and cake in the afternoons are nice. Drinks in fridge available on honor system is convenient. Recommendations for restaurants are spot-on.

Sonny was so friendly and helpful with making plans and giving recommendations. breakfast was made fresh for us and tailored to our tastes/dietary restrictions. the decor in the house is absolutely adorable and the bed so comfortable! and there is a sweet bonus dog on the property as well :)

Hard to find something…

First of all the hosts are very kind and helpful. The breakfast was really tasty and no wish remained opened. The rooms are quite welcoming, everything it’s renovated in a modern style and nicely decorated. We also got a free upgrade of the room which was quite nice from the hosts. Definitely one good choice for accommodation if you visit the GaPa area.

Absolutely nothing.

Everything about this location was exceptional. Sanni and her entire family went out of their way to stay one step ahead of all our needs and wants and made us feel welcomed in their home. The breakfast was a 5-star event in itself, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. They helped us with sightseeing ideas, directions, and local restaurants to get a good meal. We definitely will reserve a spot here during our next visit to the area.

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Breakfast was delicious every morning. Otto made us delicious eggs and all other juices and portions were individualized and beauifully presented. Everything was fresh!

Thank you Sanni and family for a brilliant few days!! Everything for our minimoon was absolutely perfect and we can't wait to return. The room had everything we needed, practical and rustic/modern decoration, which I love!! The views are incredible in all weathers, but the best view is from the pool so my advice would be to be brave and a bit crazy a go cold water swimming in the pool. Thanks to Sam, the dog too for helping us to not miss our dog too much 🐶
