A bit old fashioned but very well maintained hotel with: - kind and helpfull personell - superb breakfasts - comfortable beds - spacious underground parking suitable also for large cars ... and last but not least, good location

Paking is quite expenisve.

Hotel has a very good location in city center with parking places. My room was small but clean and very nice.They have perfect fitness gym and there is sauna. Peronel is very nice.Price quite fair.

Since we stayed here off-season (no major music festivals), the city was very quiet and dark at night. The location is not bad, but we had to walk a little to have dinner in the city.

The music score painted on the wall of the room added a special touch to our stay in this hotel in Bayreuth, the city with rich music history. The room was very clean.

Handy for town centre and easy walking to Festspielhaus. Small but useful gym. Excellent bar.

Room was very hot - due to it being summer. But cooled down with windows open. Breakfast not the cheapest but seemed to include wine!

Lovely staff, very clean, good location in town, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, room size good. 20 min walk from station and similar to Wagner's house / museum. Shopping centre round the corner. Convenient cheap shuttle service to festival which included free wine and cake before leaving. Would definitely stay again.

After checking in, I found a letter in the room asking me to consider giving up room service, as the hotel is very busy (my stay happened during Bayreuth Festival). I went for it, but then realised that without room service, I won't be provided with free bottled water. I went to reception, explained the situation, and got charged for the water, which seemed to me to be a bit unfair. The only other thing that could have been better (other that this minor wrinkle) is that the cost of the stay seemed a tiny bit too high to me.

Caring and welcoming staff with impeccable English. Located very close to town centre with lots of restaurants/cafes within a short walking distance. Breakfast was also very good (although a tiny bit pricey).

Shower curtain - see above. The wash basin had a chip in it which should have been replaced when first noticed. Or is this the first notice?

Breakfast & servers excellent. Best selection I have seen in a long time, but there should have been some smoked salmon/Gravadlax to go with the scrambled egg. Room & bathroom okay, but a shower curtain in the bathroom? About time they were upgraded to a shower cubicle. Plenty of room round the wash basin to lay out toiletries.

The wifi-connection. It was lousy! I had to use my own roaming. With my computer, the wifi seldom worked. I pointed it out to the reception and the receptionist answered me: "It works fine for me". No consideration at all that she was near the modem while I was staying in the second floor. Too much unprofessional an answer considering the rooms rate.

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel due to its huge cost: 14 €.

The room was on second floor and there was a noise from cars driving in the street but luckily the street isn’t busy. The bed were narrow and not super comfortable. There is no minibar but two water bottles were included. There was no kettle to make coffee or tee that can sometimes be nice.

The hotel is well situated and rooms are clean. I stayed for two night and switched rooms as was the plan.

A little bland (ie. not much character). Nice grand piano in lobby - but apparently never played.

Easy walking distance to centre, easy parking, modern furnishing, generous breakfast.
