How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Thin walls, so it´s loud if somebody is on floor. Bad connection to city center Nürnberg

We accidentally went to the associated restaurant and were met with staff who were rather dismissive of us, and it seems we really tested their patience asking where we should be. Definitely a poor first impression. When we found the hotel, a very nice receptionist wanted to know if we’d like to book dinner there, as had been our intention. We declined based on the attitude of the two people we interacted with.
Location was easy to get to to from motorway. Breakfast was nice. Reception were very helpful.

Rooms on the road side can be noisy especially when a delivery truck arrived at around 07.30!! Make sure you ask for the inner rooms. Breakfast was reasonable, with a good selection and well staffed but came with quite the worse bread we’ve ever had in a German hotel. Reataurant is housed in a separate ancient building, cute and atmospheric with wonderful, efficient and friendly staff however, the dishes were expensive and the food didn’t live up to our expectations
A quiet but very convenient stop for visiting Nuremberg which you can reach easily by Uban (metro) or taxi Rooms are modern and a reasonable size, clean with comfortable beds, good bathrooms with lots of hot water.

Room was comfortable although strange window into bathroom was … strange. The bathroom seemed much more focused on the bath, but I’d rather take a shower but the shower was only mounted about 1.5 metres high. Breakfast room was very full and getting a table took a while.
Hotel room was nice, staff were friendly on arrival and at breakfast. Room was very clean. breakfast had a very nice selection.

the bed was too hard for me personally. the room had no proper shower, but only a bath tub without any curtains or the like.

The view on the fields and meadows from my window was breathtaking. Room super clean. Design very creative. There are plenty of parking spots for free. Staff friendly and professional. Visit the restaurant. Excellent cuisine. A kind of German cuisine "à la français". I will definitely return.

One young member of the female staff at the Restaurant has a very unfortunate manner. The food was good but not regional as it has been on our previous stays.
People at main Reception were friendly and efficient.

Very nice stay, convinient if you are traveling, close to the highway. Big rooms, nice area, looked like vacation area. Food in the restaurant was amazing. People were great. We enjoyed breakfast too. free parking.
