The location was great. Very clean and nice staff. I had a single bed, which for me was very cozy.

No late checkout option: the hotel is too popular, I guess. There is no lift, which can be a problem for some guests.

Impeccably clean and very comfortable. Ideal double glazing on the windows, muffled effectively all street noise. Very friendly staff, free umbrellas to use (VERY useful). One of the best places in Cologne I have stayed in, only minutes away from the Central Station.

Close to train station shops and restaurants.

When I work at Köln and I always stay in this hotel. The WiFi in the room had a problem and bothered me for two days. The owners have tried their best to fix the issue finally.

The hot water was not consistantly hot. It would run hot the go to cold sporadically.

Wi-fi password was always changing, sometimes more than once; it became an issue after a while. No elevators; so travel light. Hotel is good enough for short business trips but sadly thats all.

Well no lift could be a big problem for older people...especially if set on 2nd floor upward.... clients should be alerted on this issue in advance

The bed sheets were after laundry, but still with some hair on them :( The change of room didn’t help, the same issue.

The owner of the hotel is friendly, the location is great, just 5 minutes maxim from the main railway station. Nice design of rooms.

The lack of a lift may be an issue for some people. It wasn’t a problem for us, especially as our case was carried upstairs for us.

Fabulous location a couple of minutes from the cathedral and about five minutes from the main railway station. Extremely comfortable room, great shower, friendly staff and an exceptional level of cleanliness. Very highly recommended for great value accommodation in the heart of Cologne. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but it did look really good.

The only thing that was a small negative was that there was no lift and we were on the 4th floor but we were warned and it didn’t cause us too much of an issue because we travelled light. You might want to request a lower floor if you have trouble with stairs but there weren’t any ground floor rooms.

We really liked the cleanliness and hospitality. The hotel kept our baggage for us before check in and after check out so we could carry on browsing the Christmas markets, climb the tower of the cathedral and have lunch. There was a kettle and coffee and tea which we made use of. Everything was well set out and we had everything we needed including Wi-Fi.
