Excellent location by the lake with amazing lake and mountain views. We loved the way the hotel combined modern with traditional to create a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere. The staff very exceptionally friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

Our main issue was comfort in the room - we both hardly slept over the 3 days we stayed. The pillows in the room were nothing short of atrocious, it was very very warm and unfortunately our room faced the main road, so leaving the window open to get some air was impossible as traffic was so noisy. The bathroom as a whole was a decent size but inexplicably had the smallest shower known to man, which was extremely hard to use as a fully grown adult. The area around the pool could use a bit of love, but perhaps because we came at the end of the summer season, they are close to shutting it down for the winter anyway.

The location on the lake is beautiful, as long as you have the weather for it. Lots of walks and hikes in the local area to enjoy. The restaurants and bars were great for a quick drink or food and breakfast was a good way to start the day, with a selection of hot and cold options. Staff were all friendly and the drink upon check-in was a nice addition.

The patio stones were uneven in spots-could cause a slip. More parking would help.

From the ample and delicious breakfast to the delightful sauna and ever-present Mountain View’s, my stay at the Schliersee Hof was a delight. The staff was always friendly and helpful. All in all, would highly recommend this hotel.

We booked a room with lake view and got a room with side lake view which is less spectacular and can be quite noisy. The parking situation is poor. We had to walk for a long time since their own parking is too small.

Weekend parking difficult but when it’s blue sky 32c everyone wants to be by the lake. We had kids above us running around all hours making a racket but they were moved after reporting.

Location is superb and the lake views are just WOW!

Receptionist had no local knowledge to recommend hikes or walks

Staff was very friendly and tried to help where they could. It was difficult to communicate with the cleaning lady ad she spoke neither German nor English. But she brought a colleague up and then we could fix the problem The pool facilities were great (terasse, lounge chairs, etc)

Hotel in general was very disappointing. It's very run down, the garden area is dangerous, (uneven paving), nothing was open. The restaurant, the bar. The room hasn't been dusted in a long time and need a deep clean. The price is disgusting for what they offer. The website is very misleading. Wouldn't recommend unless desperate. Won't be staying again. When we left the owner was complaining.

The only thing I have in mind is when we first entered our room, there was a funny smell coming from the bathroom, like if it hadn’t been used for a while. This was only a bit of a problem the first night. It got much better after we left windows and the terrace door open, and turned on the shower and sink for a while. Otherwise the room seemed clean and renovated.

This is a lovely Hotel! Both times I have stayed here I have been very satisfied. I’ve gotten great rooms with view over the mountains or the lake (which is beautiful by the way). The staff is polite and helpful, and the food is amazing! Great breakfast and varied courses in the restaurant. The hotel also has a nice Biergarten just by the lake, which is the perfect spot to enjoy a meal, or just a beer while taking in the stunning view of Schliersee.

hotel is located on a beautiful lake and has beautiful interior! lovely sauna and amazing breakfast with wonderful views of the lake! great staff very helpful! beautiful comfortable rooms! 10/10! amazing outdoor area too and private access to lake! would be fab on a sunny day!
