Beware: No elevator. We had to carry our luggage up two flights of stairs! One receptionist we had was very friendly and helpful. She gave us maps and directions. But another receptionist ignored us for quite some time when we came in. She offered to help bring our luggage up the stairs, but then just left us at the bottom!

This was a nice place to stay in Passau. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Each room had its own outside terrace with table and chairs. This was particularly nice as we could open the door and extend the room to include outside. The area was green and many birds. The hotel is 4 blocks from the railway station which we found convenient. The hotel itself is about a 15 minute walk to downtown Passau. We actually liked this because the place was very quiet and we like to walk.

We actually tried to book again a few days later, but no vacancies. A little bit of a walk to town, but we knew that. So generally not an issue, but you have to walk to restaurants as there is nothing close by. So a bit of a wet walk if you want to eat if it rains, but in good weather unproblematic.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room and facilities. All the little things you appreciate in a hotel (tissues, coffee maker, water). Very comfortable beds. But best of all: the best make-up mirror EVER!!! In the right place to get light, adjustable height, and light on the mirror!!! Someone actually took into consideration that women might stay at their place. Really appreciated that!!!

The reception was closed when I arrived at 7pm and I had to communicate with the receptionist via phone. She gave me clear but not easy instructions how to access the key . If my English wasnt good I would have a problem. I think these things should be given in advance in writing.

This is an older hotel so the facilities were all a bit dated.

Good location, walking distance from Old Town. Parking on site provided for a fee. Room had own little terrace.

The staff were very helpful when i checked in, giving clear instructions about where to park my car and breakfast times etc. The location was good, about a 10 minute walk to the centre. The room was much bigger then I expected and had good amenities. The breakfast was really good also, overall, very pleased.

garage is rather small. not all cars put them in the correct spot and then you end up waiting in the morning. a large car towards a length of 5 meters would have some issues getting out .

The bathroom is quite small compared to the room, but still functional.

I stayed at this hotel during a business trip. I found it welcoming, clean and equipped with all the necessary services. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the breakfast, varied and with good products.

- Reception irregularly staffed - Checkin process and room key handover at 8:30pm not obvious (nobody at reception, needed to call and ask what to do => then they informed me and everything went well) - Room was slightly too warm in the night (end of March - heating time)

- Good value for money, especially compared to more expensive similar hotels slightly closer to the train station and old town - In short walking distance from train station - Very good breakfast for 12 € - Quiet and familiar atmosphere
