The hotel is gorgeous and in a perfect location, especially if you want a quiet spot. The staff were lovely. They were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful.

There is no parking. We had to pay 25 euros for public parking.

Beautiful location in a lovely building. We enjoyed a romantic babymoon at the qvest and would return for another special occasion.

Despite the kindness and helpfulness of the receptionists, the image of Qvest would gain notoriety if the staff received a uniform. The rooms are spacious but with insufficient lighting. The bathrooms are tiny but nicely designed. Neither the kettle nor the television worked. The emergency number is...on the answering machine.

There is a certain level of impracticality one can attach to design elements of the room and the en-suite. And little touches were missing (No slippers supplied as was mentioned and the mini bar was not fully stocked and items expensive). My main upset attached to our stay, was being woken at 4 or 5 am in the morning by a ranting individual shouting aggressively outside the property on the street. Acknowledging that the hotel has no control over the behaviour of passers by, but my impression was that the perpetrator was venting anger aimed at the hotel specifically. Having no understanding of German I was scared and upset by the incident knowing that there was no security and that the reception was not staffed overnight. Due to language difficulties we relied on someone else calling the police to come and investigate, but we did not know what was going on until we heard the sirens which suggested police had been called to the vicinity. When we mentioned the incident to the receptionist upon checking out she denied knowing anything about what had happened and said ‘it is usually very quiet at night’. Which, as I’ve now read other reviews that suggests that’s not quite true.

A stunning building. First Impressions very good. Receptionist on arrival professional and welcoming. The room was Clean and fresh and we received a tidying of the room after the first night of our 2 night stay- This was the only outlet that provided a midway refresh from all our stays during our mini European trip.
