Night front desk staff was a bit gruff with me when I asked for an extra pillow,

The breakfast buffet & breakfast staff were fantastic as was the front desk staff during the day. The room was quiet & comfy with a nice sofa to sit on. Balcony was fantastic with beautiful views of the mountains.

Traditional cosy hotel with plenty of facilities to enjoy a relaxing stay. Half board was such good value for a varied breakfast and a tasty 4 course menu in the evening. All the staff were friendly, helpful and very welcoming. Location excellent to walk into the center where cafes, shops and restaurants are.

This hotel was amazing! The staff and facilities were wonderful and walkable to restaurants and everything in the area. I wish I had better understood the room sizes when I first booked but everything was fine and the front desk replied to all my emails. The food at the restaurant and the breakfast were some of our favorite meals. Also, the sauna and spa were a great way to spend some downtime after a rainy/snowy day. We love it! ( Family of four).

Nothing to complain about!

This was the best hotel that we stayed in. The breakfast was delicious the variety of food was good. We really enjoyed the afternoon snack. Dinner was excellent. The room was spacious and very clean. bed and pillows very comfy. Bathroom was also spacious and modern. The location was excellet. The service from all the staff at Hotel Zugspitz was awesome!

The hotel itself was very good but it was all of the little extras that made it exceptional. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We only stayed two nights so didn't get chance to use all of the facilities. We would certainly like to go back for a longer stay.

Nothing that would prevent me from staying again. However, my room had some issues with sound. I was in a split level room and the bed was so close to the door I could hear everything which wasn't too bad but the ceilings were apparently thin because I could hear a baby crying for over 30 mins for three nights in a row. Luckily I had ear plugs and was eventually able to fall sleep but there needs to be more insulation between rooms. Additonally, the bed shouldn't be two feet from a door (that isn't even necessary to have because there is one on ground floor).

So far this is the best of the five places I've stayed at in Garmisch. The rooms are great size with plenty of amenities including coffee/tea makers. There are complimentary waters and juice soda in the mini fridge (which is also nice to have) and it is a quick walk to many different restaurants. All of the staff is helpful and friendly. I didn't use the gym, spa or restaurant this time but my colleagues said they were great.

The hotel is top quality. Starting with clean and cozy rooms, forthcomming and caring personnel ending with absolutely fabulous dinner. Greatly furnished rooms with large enough beds (I have difficulty with this in 90% of the hotels) were cherry on top. Gorgeous view from the balcony as well as high quality spa and tasty afternoon snacks were great surprises!

There was no view from the ground floor room, which is a pity because the location is wonderful. The pool was a bit crowded in the afternoon and the water is too cool in the jakuzzi.

Breakfast was delicious, beds were comfortable. The spa is very nice too, the sauna area is lovely. Had an excellent facial treatment, which I could book online, and she spoke very good English. Underground parking is provided (for a fee).

This is an excellent hotel I enjoyed my stay here:- -Very centrally located for shops, bars, restaurants and the train station all within walking distance -The rooms are very nice and large -The breakfast was excellent with a great selection -The afternoon tea, coffee and cake is a nice touch -The staff were all very friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

It was noisy when we slept with the windows open for a cool room. Lots of people shouting and many cars driving by.

Love the location and the staff. The pool and sauna complex is great. Lovely breakfast. Great place to stay.
