“It's an old style danish house in the middle of the wood, with beautiful surroundings and easy to find. Kitchen was very well equipped. Possibility of horse-riding in the same house.”

“This is a pleasant house that has been converted to holiday accommodation in a great location. Quiet road, very close to the ferry terminal and the free bus across the island. Very good supermarket nearby with friendly staff. Short walk to wonderful beaches. The accommodation was very clean with a a nice kitchen to use, a living room with sofas and a garden to sit out in. The wifi was good. Shared bathroom was fine, but the house was not full.”

The roofing is made up of over 90 tonnes of seaweed, a unique building style to the island and shortlisted to become a UNESCO heritage. Peter and Lillian who run the place are forthcoming and very helpful. They will happily share stories about the island. The homemade breakfast was delicious.”
