The cleaning of the rooms are not on daily base just if you order it. A little fridge on the rooms would be great.

The reception desk was the best ever. They were helpful, kind etc. The wellness part of the hotel was great it is good with kids, the weekend was a little bit full so I would recommend the weekdays. Although the kitchen forgot to prepare our food boxes but the lady at the reception was really helpful and solved the problem at midnight.

Fly on the ointment was the bed. Worst mattress we have ever experienced. Too soft and some sort of form filling that left us both sore and uncomfortable. This would be the only reason we would not stay there again… everything else about the hotel was excellent. Probably personal preference so no reflection on anything the hotel did or didn’t do.

Breakfast was excellent, facilities at the hotel are also excellent… especially if you have children with you.

The quality of the food in the dinner restaurant “Det gule pakhus” was bad and too expensive. In the breakfast restaurant it was crowded with too many guests at the same time. Although we had reserved time for breakfast, it seemed like almost all other guests had breakfast at the same time. The staff didn’t check that the guests had breakfast at their reserved time, so perhaps that’s the reason.

The location of the hotel is very good, and the room was nice and clean.

Even tho it had a great spa and pools, they only gave 2!! towels for 3 person… We had to ask for 4 more (1 spa and 1 for shower per person).

We checked in at 3am due to car and ferry trouble and wen we asked for a later check out, we were charged. Check in times should be taken into consideration. Not enough parking space.

Inflexibility of family rooms availability (we needed 2 rooms as we could book only 2 in a room that could clearly take 3 or 4). Bar stopped mixing drinks a bit early.

Super efficient and helpful staff. Super pool complex, sauna etc. really excellent for kids and grownups. Nice bar.

The couches on the bar look pretty old and I think it is time for a replacement. Also they are not very comfortable.

The pools are fantastic. Very good for playing with the kids. The bar is awesome to have some relax time. The restaurant is very well organized.

This may be a lingering covid effect, but the place lost some magic. It used to be exciting and playful from the moment you arrived. Meals used to have activities for the kids. There used to be a pirate theme which has now been scaled back, presumably to avoid a perception of celebrating piracy. But there is nothing to take its place that gets kids excited. It remains a hotel with a great pool facility, but I think it could be so much more. It used to be! (Liseberg in Gothenburg will open a huge indoor waterpark in 2024, The Reef should probably revamp and get some magic back before then...)

Baby's crib was a bit shabby and bathroom's sliding door wasn't the best possible solution when travelling with toddler. Showers in spa area needs to be updated. Breakfast could start a bit earlier. There was spiders in our room(!!) and bird feces all over the window.

Spa was very nice,kids loved it. Parking area was marked clearly and was easy to be found. Staff was nice. Spa opened early enough. Room had nice big window.
