Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

GermanyThe pods beds aren't the most comfortable. The mattress is fairly minimalist, and I hurt my head on the top and sides a few times (I'm 1,60 m, so not a giant). For short stays, it's fine, but I would not stay a full week because of this.
Welcoming and helpful staff, the hostel is small and cozy with a nice reading nook in the common spaces. At a short walking distance from the city station. The neighborhood is nothing special, but it has plenty of cafés and restaurants.

United StatesLocation was perfect! Easy to get to from Copenhagen Airport and a five minute walk to the main train station and Metro. There were plenty of choices of places to eat nearby. Breakfast was included and was a great start to my morning. Pods were cozy. The staff was incredible! They were super helpful and took the time to answer any questions thoroughly and they were extremely friendly. I would definitely stay at Woodah if I find myself in Copenhagen again.

Russiathe only thing i would suggest is to change music or make it much louder in the cafe. when it's so quiet, so it gets really uncomfortable to eat, if no one talks loud. as you can hear how people chew their food, every single little sound of the forks on the plate. also, you can hear someone sneeze in the bathroom, etc + blankets might be too thin for winter times, if someone from your room for no reason opens the window or reduces the heat. blankets from the living room can help, but not much the last thing, more of suggestion — as the cafe is closed at night, having a kettle or water heater in the common area would be fantastic to make yourself some tea in the evening
I loved the design and aesthetics, friendly staff, easy check-in procedure, breakfast is 10/10, amazing! sleeping pods are very nice and provide you with personal space, complimentary earplugs is also a thing. everything is clear, bathrooms are comfortable, location is wonderful. also, Woodah attracts great people, it was a pleasure to meet everyone

United KingdomBreakfast just alright, not amazing as they state, beds are good, not much of a place to hang out and meet people, no kitchen, shower pressure not great. But good place for a few days. It has a cafe with no real espresso machine :/

Polandthere was no separation between men and women, which was very uncomfortable. Also you could feel the dust clogging your nose. Another disadvantage is that there are only two showers. It would be good for people who came together to put beds above/below each other to make it more comfortable
the breakfasts were really good, there wasn't a lot of choice, I missed some fresh baked goods that Denmark is famous for.

ChinaNothing and I'll say it's a little bit stuffy when sleeping if you have to be picking about it.
A cute and cozy place. Definitely out of my expectation as my first trial for hostel. It's quite clean and the location is an easy walk distance from the central station. Also some really nice restaurants around. The sleeping pod has a good privacy. Can't recommend more if anyone is considering.

Great location super near the train station. I liked the pod setup myself. Bit small in the rooms, but all do able. ALL 3 staff members I met were extremely friendly. Was suuuper nice to be greeted with that.

SlovakiaThis hostel easily topped any of my previous experience and far exceeded all the expectations. It's super cozy, clean and staff is lovely, willing to answer all questions one might have. I felt super safe during my short stay and slept like a baby. Simple yet yummy breakfast is included in the price. It's located within 10 minutes of walk distance from the central train station in a nice quiet street . I can definitely recommend.

IndiaThis was my first time in a hostel and I was happily surprised how comfortable it was. This hostel was so clean, comfortable, amazing breakfast, very helpful staff. What I love the most is post dinner chats with fellow room mates. There are different places to work or chat. Guests were mindful, shared toilets were so clean. Plus the location is so convenient to go anywhere, both metro and train stations are 5 mins away. Loved this place.

FranceIt was an amazing experience. I slept well, mattress were perfect, and the staff was lovely. Due to the low season staff had time to have really interesting discussions, about Copenhagen, Danemark and life in general. The perfect place I needed to be. Will definitvely come back there. I wish all the best for the hostel ans the staff ! Cheers,

Honestly I was worried that I won’t be comfortable to sleep in the hostel because it was my first time since I usually sleep in the hotel but I decided to try and see the hostel. Spent two nights in the hostel was best decision I have ever because the staff at the hostel are so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great as well, great location and an amazing decor as well.

Czech RepublicGreat prize (altough it's the one the most expensive cities in Europe), location in the centre of Copenhagen, kind hostel stuff, pleasant breakfast, 110% cleanness, private showers in bathrooms, relax zone with bookcase, friendly young co-guests, the best privacy in sleeping cabins (plus they were very comfortable), locks under the cabins and also a key code for access (if you'll come lately)

United KingdomIt would be great to have a kettle. It would be nice to have an extra shelf/ chair in the main area of the bathroom for toiletries etc. I would also improve the ladders on the bank beds as they are very dangerous. There could be another handle installed on the other side of bed to hold yourself onto.
I felt very welcomed there and the staff were very friendly and supportive. There is a nice breakfast in the morning. The hostel is located near the central station and Tivoli.
