Right in the middle of Roseau which was ideal. I had returned to Dominica (my Mum’s ancestral home) after a gap of 25 years. The property was clean, ordered, comfortable and the hosts Phil and Carol were the best hosts possible - we wanted for nothing! 👌🏾

No outside light when sitting on the balcony upstairs. I would have liked to sit outside after dark in peace and read my book.

Everything else was fine. The environment was welcoming. Peaceful area. Room was clean and "homely". The building colours really add vigor to the building itself.

I would say if you are saying, "Breakfast included", you can offer a little more than just fruits and toast, without having to pay. Maybe you can include granola bars, yogurts, pre-sliced cheese etc.

The hotel is basic and the room is quite small. The number of 'can/can not' do signage is bit on the ridiculous side (there is even one on the light switch advising to turn off the light). What's this all about?! :)

Easy parking on the street and within walking distance to the city centre (few local bars nearby also if you do not fancy heading into town). Good AC and good WIFI. You can watch the sunset on the rooftop terrace... at your own risk :) Breakfast was simple but enough to get you going for the day.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Some rooms had a balcony and a good view but mine was a cheaper room that didn't have a view. Good view from the roof-top.

The room and bathroom is old and needs a makeover. We had a kettle in room but no cups, or any thing else to make coffee with. Our tv didn't work properly.

Our room was clean and it had a nice view outside on the walkway, we enjoyed watching the sun go down over the ocean.

The toilet malfunctioned. It flushed ok, but then the water kept flowing.

We really liked how convenient it was to walk to the ferry terminal and into downtown Roseau (approximately 10-15 minutes). The open courtyard with the fountain and breakfast area was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced.

It felt somewhat louder than one would expect in the late night hours at times due to loud music from a place nearby, but I didn't mind it that much, so it was OK.

The room I stayed in was small but well-equipped, so it felt cosy. The simple breakfast with fruits and coffee was a nice start every day. The location of the guesthouse is within walking distance from the centre of the town. And the hosts were truly amazing.

The mattress should be orthopaedic, meaning spine-friendly.

The property was super clean with hot shower, toiletries, towel. The room though small was of perfect size for my use.

The toilet was very noisy when flushed and was low so felt like you were sitting on the ground. The glass shelf over the sink did not seem secure - it was easy to knock your head when using the sink. Need some upgrading to the fridge, the bedside lamp and the plastic tray holding the coffee mug. The kettle in the lounge should be changed - it looked old and very worn. No generator backup - electricity was lost for over 4 hours. It would be nice to have a light duvet/covering in the wardrobe and maybe a few more hangers.

The breakfast was very good with the opportunity to add extras e.g. bacon, fried plantain etc. The coffee was excellent, The garden was very well maintained - beautiful flowers and plants. Very peaceful area. The pond was my favourite. well designed with a number of fish. I have to mention that the bed was very comfortable - we both had two good nights sleep after busy days. Last but not least, a thank you to the staff for a warm welcome and making us feel at home. Cheney especially was very attentive and provided excellent service in the restaurant and the front desk. The shuttle from the airport is worth making use of. The driver is very knowledgeable and the drive from the airport was comfortable and informative. Thank you St. James

Ac unit over bed. Bathroom light flickering (although not a big problem). Room was a bit functional, not too inviting. Seaview was from the shared walkway outside the room (although felt quite private and was a nice place to sit).

Friendly hosts, big room, nice breakfast (included), easy to walk to town, large comfortable bed. Nice seaview from outside the room. Overall very enjoyable stay, would be happy to stay again.
