Room was smaller than anticipated, but worked for us. Breakfast was the same thing every day (ham and cheese sandwich with egg) but was good.

Super friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Excellent location to be close to main things in Colonial Zone. Clean, and beautiful rooftop area.

The woman working in the kitchen for breakfast was horribly unpleasant. When I asked her what she was preparing for breakfast, she said eggs with ham. I told her we don't eat ham. She got upset and blamed me for not telling her sooner since she was already cooking our eggs with ham. Huh?! She was extremely bad humored the next 2 days we were there as well. There was also a young worker I saw in the hallways a couple of times who seemed like he didn't want any tourists around. If it wasn't for the bad staff and the high level of noise coming from the street, it would be a much better place.

The location is just about the only good thing about this hotel, although we had to ask to change rooms due the to level of noise coming from the street in the first room we got. The second room was a lot smaller, but the noise level was manageable. Very close to the old part of town that's worth visiting.

The 3rd Floor TERRAZA -- eating and relaxing area--was closed most of that week? The FLOOR was being repainted--very SLOWLY, I might add. This is the #1 Spot and attraction for this Central Hotel. This was a disappointment--but then they don't ADVERTISE that this cool 3rd - 4th Floor OPEN TERRAZA AREA--they don't advertise that it is CLOSED. Very Sad.

LOCATION was perfect--near to the #1 Pedestrian SHOPPING STREET in Santo Domingo!! (Calle Conde) I stayed at this hotel once before in Summer 2020. STAFF were really nice.

Poor amenities. Only 2 towels for 3 nights. They advertised pool towels, but when I asked Ricardo about it, he said 2 towels is all that is available. Had to buy our own toilet paper for last 2 days. No maid service We were supposed to have a balcony and washing machine ,but we were in the old building across the street from the nice suites.there was nothing to indicate this in our reservation Make sure to ask for breakfast or you may not get it.o

The internet, oh wow that needs to be sorted ASAP. It was just a touch-and-go mostly-go during my stay. The A/C in our room did not cool it, however, the fan was the saviour.

The hotel staff was ok, they tried their best to help when asked. They were very polite, respectful, and confidential, attributes I really appreciate. Despite the few short comings, which can be fixed, I would stay again and recommend.

we had to keep telling them about changing the bedding and to bring us anther towel as they always left one and there were two of us .. tell you the truth I didn’t like it .
