United StatesFirst of all. They gave me a messy room. The air conditioner and refrigerator isn't work. No portable water in room. The staff was a disaster in customers services. Except Juan(reservation), Dilcia (Lobby). On Saturday night I got La Ola restaurant and its staff was so unlike. I got out that so angry because of the way they treated us. The Hotel is beautiful and clean but they need to improve their staff. They need to give a better services to us. For me, next year I will to another hotel looking for better services than Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana

United StatesI was at the pool with my cousin who is gay, an employee at the pool who was picking up empty cups made it a comment and made it very clear he’s a homophobic. Employees needs to be trained to do a better service and to respect others preferences. I also didn’t like ordering coffee and not getting anything to stir.

PeruServers and staff need to get a proper training in order to know everything about the hospitality business. They have the will to work, I can see that but they aren't trained at all. What I'm saying is not their fault is company's responsibilities and it isn't following this simple concept.
The energy and the desire of the staff to work and do the right thing even though they are not trained for it. Their positive attitude is contagious. Remember a place to remember could be the place itself but is actually the interaction with the people there that build great experiences.

Jamaicaguest relations at the desk..the dark girl promised to send ammenities to the room for our anniversary- nothing showed up- told her and she never bothered -shrugged her shoulders never made an apology-we had no choice to book for any retaurants and said our stay was too short of 3days to book.eventually a guy told us we could only eat buffet.we tried again and the last nite the only choice availble was the Italian- nothing special about that dinner. the casino AC never function ed and the girl just sat there and never called mtc. we had already lost USD500 in the machines so we couldnt take the heat any more. During the day there is good music at the pool but no interaction to get the guests involved in any activites- aquasize or dancing games etc. Your staff needs to get some more Training with Customer Service especially at Guest Relations. The Front Desk seem very disorganized no maps to give the guests. the young man who checked us in kept opening every cupboard looking for a map- then another agent comes in front of hin to count her money. So we had to wait until she finished that for him to continue his checkin with us. No proper supervisor there to ensure smooth checkin. No room service offered even though we offered to pay-No one answers the phone quickly. we called 12 times for someone to eventually answer. The bellmen nee to cut off the bands before a guest departs..we had to tell him.

SpainThe hotel needs to maintain better it's facilities better. Most of the restrooms needs major repairs, not closing or broken doors and not flushing toilets are not acceptable. All showers on the beach are either broken or barely working. The rooms are more like 3 stars, as they also need refreshment. Very sloppy repairs can be seen everywhere. The water in the pools gets dirty quickly, maybe they don't run the cleaning system all the time or cannot keep up with all people. A lot of 2 star guests, but it was barrable. The majority of the staff was friendly, but there was others who clearly didn't like being there or working on their positions. The trip to Saona Island was exhausting and not worth the 5 hours of total drive for the 2 hours of stay on the Island.
The overall experience in the hotel was pleasant. The beach restaurant was excellent as well as the food in all places. There was food and drinks available almost all the time. The electric shuttle transportation in the resort was also really good. We liked the children's water park a lot. The gardens are well maintained, with lush with tropical vegetation.

You have to get Covid tested the day before you leave, you make an appointment and then show up. however, they schedule everyone leaving for the same time instead of making separate appointments creating pure chaos in the lobby. The staff were very kind and helpful but just so unorganized and seemed to care more about how the place looked than if it was running smoothly.

United StatesPast 3:45pm given my room when check in is at 3pm. Upon entering the room had no toilet. Issues with getting relocated. 12 restaurants and we were told we could only reserve 2. Food is absolutely trash; no flavor including Olivo Mediterranean, Orchidia, Bar Grill . Drinks were served in a 5oz cups throughout the whole stay (all artificial) warm beer. Must pay over $50 for “top shelf” although it’s all inclusive. Employees calling each other out of their names and verbally fighting amongst themselves in front of guests (reception, entertainment, shuttle drivers). Employees are extremely rude to guest specially the ones located in the “coming 2” desk (day shifts). Not a 5 star resort, at best 2-3 stars.

BulgariaThis property is old, very dark rooms, unpleasant smell in the room, bugs in the room, old furnitures, liking roof during the rains. Not recommended at all. The stuff is rude and not cooperative, doesn’t speak English and it’s very hard to understand with them. The is an express check out in the app which doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t matter that you’re checked out through the app you have to go to the reception. Once you’re checked out the even denied to drive us to the main gate on lunch time, led us wall atrium 1-2 km with suitcases and all our stuff, because the don’t let all the taxi in the property just those who give part of the money to the property!!!! I don’t recommend this hotel to no one. This is my first and last time in the BAHIA resorts. After this resort we were in a real 5 start hire very close to this one. The thing’s cannot be compared!
