Dorm was directly next to the street. There is no way anyone in our room could get an uninterrupted night of sleep there.

The outside kitchen is great but the guests leave it, especially the fridge, quite dirty and unpleasant. There are a bit few plates and cutlery.

The place was great! Amazing location + inside you wouldn't say that you are in the middle of a big city (the green patio is amazing to relax) + nice service + billiard + quiet and clean rooms.

Breakfast is quite modest. Some sockets werent working. Toillet seat is broken, needs to be replaced. There was a huge cockroach in our room.

Common areas are really nice. There is air condition in the room.

The rooms are quite noisy. If there is music playing or people talking you can hear everything.

It’s a very nice hostel in the middle of the colonial city. We took a double room in the second floor. The stay includes a decent breakfast: scrambled eggs, pancakes, baked beans and bread with butter and marmalade. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

However, there was no pillow case on my pillow (I was too tired to go down off my top bunk and ask for help) and nowhere to put my backpack, so it took up a lot of space at the foot of my bed, making for an uncomfortable sleep.

It’s a backpacker’s dream place with all the facilities à traveller could want.

Nice place to stay in Santo Domingo. Worth for the price. Clean, big. If you want to leave some expensive things take the locker with you, because they don't have lockers in the rooms.

Wood worms in the room. staff changed the sheets and cleaned the wooden parts with the bleech. Hope they get rid of them.

- shared toilettes and bathrooms should be cleaned more often, as they are dirty and smelly - sockets are too loose and don't keep the plug cables in - breakfast could be served more efficiently / more variety would be appreciated - some night parties / music could be a nice addition

- location next to the main area of Zona Colonial - good prices for drinks and food - very friendly staff - large common areas

Wifi sometimes was not reaching the rooms.

Good Breakfast, all you need and always available. Very nice personel and the owner, very easy to meet and talk with other travelers. Always clean and nice toilets. There is a bar, pool table. and a little patio where you can hang out. rooms are small and very basic but good enough and not overpriced. There is AC in each room , and each bed has a personal fan and a plug socket which is great. It's quiet area and people are respectful. If you want ot party, it's a walking distance from many bars and clubs, so really perfect.
