We absolutely loved it! The hammock in the balcony, the hummingbirds and other colorful birds in the garden, the amazing view, the breakfast, the helpful staff, the location, all amazing! While taking a walk in the garden we also met their lovely dog and fell in love with him. We recommend it!

Had some issues with the hot/cold water in the shower but other than that everything else worked perfectly.

The location was 1.5 miles from downtown Banos. There was no restaurants close by, so you had to get a cab or drive into downtown Banos for dinner. We tried to order food delivered one night, but it took over an hour and of the 4 meals ordered, we only got 3. So we split 3 meals among 4 people.

The room was comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the river. Beautiful sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was included and very good. We had our laundry done in house at a reasonable price. Because the location was out of downtown, next to the river, it was very quiet at night. I imagine staying in downtown Banos would be very noisy.

We loved it! Amazing river and mountain view from our room and balcony. Coffee machine inside room. We really liked the vibe and staff was super helpful, breakfast was Ecuadorian style but we liked. Honestly we wished we could stay a little longer

Extremely helpful and kind staff, were able to help order food and provide us with numbers for delivery service, and taxi's. Breakfast was also very delicious, and the view was to die for, definitely recommend the Eden room with the river view.

They need to fix the water running from the bathroom. It’s load and doesn’t let you sleep. There fix was just turning it off.

The location is not in downtown Baños which has pros and cons. There were not a lot of restaurants within walking distance but it was also very quit at the property which was nice.

They decorated our room for our honeymoon which was very kind. The views were beautiful! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good everyday.

We weren't in the room much but for the small amount that we were and to distract our child or have him doze off a bit, it would be nice to have cable TV that wasn't super grainy. I don't know if it was the mountain ranges that make the signal weak but all of the channels were really hard to see. Not the biggest deal but if that could be fixed then it's another plus to the constructive criticism. I also would give a bit of a notch down for the water temperature in the shower. It was a great shower pressure but the temperature was so finnicky and difficult to manage. One second it would be extremely hot and the other extremely cold. It was very difficult to find a nice range for nice warm water. Always had to play with the shower handle to go from super hot to super cold and that's just a bit annoying to have to deal with those difficulties..fix these little issues up and the place is 100000000% recomennded...for now, it's pretty great at 99% lol.

The view was beyond beautiful and my favorite part of our Ecuador trip, spend that extra little bit for the balcony view because it is super worth it. Breakfast downstairs was also tasty, light and delicious with the most friendly service who always wore a smile on their face. We went with the jacuzzi room suite and even though, we only tried the hot tub once, it does make for a very nice experience and memory to get to do that with mountains and the amazing sounds of nature with the french doors wide open. Brisk and refreshing winds enter our room and I would go again if I ever went to Baños and tell everyone to lodge there 100 percent.

The room was perfect, very cozy, a beautiful balcony with spectacular view of the mountains and river. Breakfast was different everyday with fresh squeezed juice and delicious local cuisine. The staff was super friendly and helped with any request we made. We highly highly recommend Aldea Real!!

I think the prices are a bit high.

Loved the view from my room. The pictures are a true representation of the hotel. The jacuzzi tub was fantastic and the view was incredible. I loved falling asleep to the sound of the river running by the property. The mountain views were breathtaking!! A very serene, peaceful setting. There were no dogs barking or roosters crowing, lol. The breakfast was wholesome, varied and delicious. The staff person were wonderful and very attentive and helpful with suggestions where to eat, places to see and making transportation arrangements. I will definitely go back when visiting Banos.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable but manageable. The room we stayed in was smaller but I know they have larger options available at the property. There is not A/C in the room but we left the door to our balcony cracked at night to let some cool air in and that worked.

We enjoy our stay here for 3 days and 4 nights while adventuring in Baños. The room was nice and clean. It also had a beautiful view of the volcano and the bustling river. Breakfast each morning was prepared by managers and it was delicious. They hotel managers were super helpful in getting us taxis everywhere even though neither me nor my husband spoke Spanish very well. The property is located about a 2 minute taxi ride away from the city center of Baños (costs $2 one way) which we really appreciated. The city is super vibrant during the day and night so it was nice to come back to our quiet room. The property is covered in natural vegetation- flowers, bushes, greenery everywhere. It's such a beautiful spot. Great deal for the price!

We stayed in a room with a hammock on the balcony and a beautiful view over a river. It's a great place to relax and enjoy amazing ecuadorian landscapes. There is a beautiful garden in the hotel grounds, so be sure to have an afternoon stroll there. The hosts are also very helpful and may direct you to best places you could visit around Baños. Breakfast was also very good - prepared to our order.
