First room I had was on the ground floor and very noisy, could hear everything form the room opposite. But the great team solved this and I got a more quiet room on the 2nd floor.

Super nice hotel, right in the city center. Amazing old building and decoration, like in a historical film. Wonderful team. Great restaurants. Breakfast was OK.

The junior suite could be a little bit small for a couple with a small kid. The beds are double, not queen size.

They where very friendly at the front desk. Even carried umbrella so my friend could walk back from parking car. Also gave us restaurants to eat at. They told us where to drive to for tourist stuff.

The staff all went out of their way to ensure we had everything we need and were super friendly. The location of the hotel is right in the heart of downtown, perfect location. The free breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed our dinner there as well! Couldn’t say enough good things about the hotel and staff.

Our room was lovely and comfortable - the bed was perfect. There was a fancy sitting room common area which was really nice. We ordered room service and that was nice. The breakfast was fantastic - great choice and high quality. The staff were also helpful in finding me a private tour guide. Will stay again if passing through Cuenca again.

we were ROBBED while at breakfast. several hundred dollars stolen in the 35 minutes downstairs. ZERO consideration from management. a closed circuit video of area that did not include doorway to room, only meaningless explanation from manager how it couldnt happen even though staff were outside our doorwhen we went downstairs for breakfast. a very disappointing and disorienting experience given how upscale hotel is.

We had room 210 and just above our doors, there was loud speaker, so we could hear all music all the time. As well, for me it was very noisy, I could hear everything from the restaurant, every plate, every vacumer. No outside windows in this room.

The shower didn’t work properly - the water was either very hot or very cold. We found a pin on the floor. Luckily we haven’t stepped on it barefoot, but… The cleaning person left a dirty cleaning cloth in our room, which did not inspire confidence in the cleanliness of the room overall. The hotel heavily overcharges for the airport pick up (taxi is 3 USD, we paid 16 USD from the hotel)

The hotel had a lovely oldschool vibe to it. The restaurant is nice and has good food.

The room in general, we were put in a corner room on the ground floor so had no privacy. The hotel needs to do more to sound proof the kitchen area: they were really noisy and we could hear them throwing with things from our room. Laundry service is seriously overpriced: 10 USD to wash 1 shirt, 1,5 USD per pair of socks,... Crazy prices, especially for Ecuador. Don't take the Eggs Benedict for breakfast, they can't make hollandaise sauce, it was just butter.

Great location, a beautiful setting, good bed and free parking.

Breakfast was very disappointing. We asked three times for marmalade and finally the server told us he didn't have any. We were the first people in the restaurant and the last people to get waited on.

Location of this hotel is perfect. Our room was very large and nice but we asked for a different room once we were at the hotel as the room we were originally assigned did not have a window.

Compared to the price at first I was shown a room without any windows. A bed and a toilet. Since I had the description of what I was going to get...I hardly got any of what I paid for. There was no view; and the loud disco music, latin music, and other music at the same time were highly disturbing. All the above happened because the initial hostess at the front desk was a very awful person. I needed a refrigerator as was written on my accomodation page...I did not get one and lost all the artisan cheese I had brought. I am planning to come back to Cuenca but will not stay at the Hotel Boutique Santa Lucia.

The wait staff in the restaurant are outstanding and attentive. They were all very polite. The food in restaurant was also very, very good!

The bathroom felt a bit outdated and it was a bit noisy from the street outside.

The hotel is located in one of the old colonial buildings in Cuenca and the setting is beautiful. The inner courtyard is really nice. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were also extremely helpful and available at all times.
