Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Spacious room, clean, AC. AC is a must in Guayaquil with the humid heat. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location conveniently located to Mall del Sol and other places. For the price there is alot of value. Recommend this place if you are on a budget.

The breakfast was good for the price. It’s a budget hotel so don’t expect a banquet.The staff was very helpful and nice. A very important plus for me was that they have an elevator and I didn’t have to lug my suitcase up 3 flights of stairs.

EcuadorI didn't like the staff treatment. I waited outside for the door to open for several minutes and no one opened the door until much later. I didn't like the internet, it was terrible. The television had nothing to see. The room smelled very humid also.
I liked the size of the room and the air conditioning. The parking was good too.

NetherlandsRestaurant is subpar: (very) expensive, overly salted vegetables, burrito is extremely garlicky, wine selection is very poor. Breakfast is allright, but nothing special. Coffee is slimy, small selection for non-egg-eaters. Would expect more. No outside area to relax, rooftop is empty. Sauna was turned off, probably to low number of guests.
Nice and spacious rooms. Staff is friendly.

CanadaThe room smelled and was stuffy, I booked a room with a balcony and the door was nailed/tapped shut. You cannot open the windows or doors in this place. One of the two beds in the room did not have the sheets changed between guests, you could see lots of hair and dirt on the white sheets.

United StatesThe room was not ready when we arrived in the evening, and the staff member seemed hesitant to give us the needed supplies. The kitchen had hardly any supplies and not even a garbage. The windows were very thin with the inability to securely close some of them. The water pressure was much too low some of the time. The bathrooms had a bizarre smell like broccoli. The penthouse needs to be updated for the price to stay there.
Breakfast was pretty good and the workers that helped with breakfast were great. The air conditioning was nice. One staff member went above and beyond in helping us set up our payment.

GermanyThe actual look of the room we booked looked nothing like it was advertised. instead of a bright we’ll-illuminated room it was dark with no real windows. being close to a main road, there was a lot of traffic noise. also the breakfast was kind of boring (some fruits, 1 fried egg, toast and a corn bread with some cheese in it). the promised balcony also wasn’t included. and if it says the facility a room has a kitchennete, I assume a private and not a shared one. if we would have seen real pictures beforehand, we wouldn’t have booked it :(
The pictures on booking - but not how it actually looked like. staff was quite nice, even though we had to pay extra 5$ as booking doesn’t convert euros to actual dollars so a false price is being advertised by booking :(
