Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Egyptfood is ok but no varieties also to reach the sea there are stairs as the hotel is above mountain (not too much i saw ppl double my age doing it easily and quickly it depends on your fitness) but it was still ok for a lazy and not fit person like me :D i am just writing a note because if someone with a health situation he would need a car to reach the beach

QatarThe common areas as well as the restaurant were dusty.
The Hotel has a very nice view above the bay and is connected via a long stairwell down to the marina and Emperor Dive Center, which makes this hotel specially for divers very attractive. The room was clean and minor defects were fixed by the employees very fast. The staff was super friendly and I received a room upgrade during the check in (Thank you again). Breakfast was included, however as I was the only gust at the hotel the employees brought me a small selection on my table, what was enough.

United KingdomBreakfast was not good (in first week) - just mashed potato, mincemeat and processed cheese - with a selection of salads available. Only one set of salt and pepper for the dining room. Tables were not clean at breakfast. Coffee was a bit rubbish. Sunbeds around pool were VERY old, with wheels falling off. Understand that times are hard, so owners don't want to spend excess money on furnishings cos outlook for the Future of Tourism is VERY uncertain. Musak .... was too loud around pool. Appreciate that cost of holiday rooms would have to increase to accommodate all above, so in my view, wd sooner have economical price of spacious room (with a fab view), rather than tip top sunbeds and breakfast.
Room was a good size, my request for a room overlooking the sea was accommodated, my room view was superb. The bed was comfortable (but pillow was too bulky). Staff were non-intrusive but ready to respond to all requests. The gardens were well-kept, all public areas were clean and comfortable. Beach pass was available for a nearby beach (free). Information about local services were readily available from on-site staff. Pool was cleaned daily, water was sparkling. 2nd week breakfast was good - personal service (cos very few residents), so had fresh omlette each day plus fresh variety of tomatoes, cucumber, other Egyptian delictations. Room was cleaned upon request, not everyday ... which isn't a problem cos don't need towels etc changed every day. Top service from all staff which cannot be overstated.

United KingdomVery loud music by pool during 1st week when there were lots of tourists there. Breakfasts of Aubergine (pitta) Sandwich, lots of mashed potato, seriously smashed brown stuff (mince?), plastic cheese and Instant Coffee. NOT NICE (except presumably by percentage of visitors there, from the unmentionable Eastern place). Having to ask for room 2B cleaned after first 4 days there.
Loved the spacious room with balcony overlooking Naama Bay. Very comfortable bed, large walk in shower. Toilet that actually worked. Very kind and informative staff, considered all customer needs. Also the very clean pool.

EstoniaNo Wifi at all in my room. Breakfast wasn't good at all. Music plays too loud from the poolside speakers day and night and this is heard even if all the doors and windows are losed - cant sleep.
One of the best views to Naama bay from the mountain top and still Naama center is maybe 5 minute walk away. Rooms are spacious and modern.

Cyprusthe entry to the hotel from out main gate, it can be more improved and fix meaning the entrance road was not paved. the quality of the breakfast was very poor, I mean poor variety of selection of items as well the coffee and tea machine also the juice machine was not on the counter. and some equipment are old.
Rooms were clean enough, breakfast was very poor, staff were friendly and hospitality. the position of the hotel was great point of the bay, and the night sight was extra beautiful. but it needs more improvement.
