Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaAccessibility for wheelchairs and mobility scooters not always present which makes the stay a bit annoying for guests with reduced mobility. With a little effort the hotel will be gaining a lot. Also, the fact that some beach activities seem to be reserved for Italian nationals is not acceptable. In fact some beach activity monitor was talking in Italian to my daughter and he decided to cut short the discussion when he realized that she doesn't speak Italian. I asked him in Italian if the activity was just for Italians and he said yes. I was quite socked and disappointed. This looked to me like discrimination. The hotel should rather promote exchanges between the guests and not isolation. This is the first time in my life I see this. I hope that this attitude will change whatever the cost is.
Beach. breakfast, restaurants food. Kindness of staff. Evening shows.

SwitzerlandBe careful when booking with Booking because the total price does not include taxes, and when we arrived we were surprised to find an additional $250 in taxes to pay. However, the staff at the reception was very kind.

TurkeyThe hotel is on a cliff and it's a big hotel, this means you have to climb up and down to the sea, to your room etc. It's not what we didn't like it was Ok for us but it should be considered if mobility is a problem. (There is a shuttle which is travelling inside the hotel but to get on the beach you have to do some climbing up and down.) We don't recommend to use the taxi which is at the lobby to go to the old city. They are taking you to a shop and they force you to buy from this shop! On our last day we made a late check-out at 21:00, we put our luggage in front of the lobby and waited for our Taxi in the cafe which was just near the lobby. Our Taxi came around 23:00 and when we wanted to leave, the men at the lobby didn't allow us! They wouldn't let us go because they didn't believe that we made a check out. It was very rude! It took us at least 20 minutes to explain that we already checked out several hours ago, and it was so strange that they couldn't understand this from their system and the person who made our check-out was not at the lobby his shift ended. It was a total mess.
The location of the hotel was perfect. The moment you start to swim you are inside a magical world of coral reefs and wonderful fishes. The food was also good the Italian dishes were really delicious. The hotel is clean in general. It is also very close to Farsha Cafe which we recommend to visit. The aquapark was something my daughter liked, even there were not so much slides she enjoyed it very much. The staff was usually polite and helpful especially Hesham at the restaurant near the beach cares about every guest. He is very kind, friendly and helpful.

United KingdomHotel was really nice, very large grounds but easy to figure out. Food and drink of a high standard (only ate the main restaurant due to short stay). Reef off of the beach was incredible, and the onsite dive centre is professional and reasonably prices to do PADI courses. Also just around the corner from Farsha Lounge

ItalyThe lights in the room are very soft, but you have to stay outside your room in this beautiful place, so we don't care too much.
The place is very close to the coral barrier. All the stuff is very nice.

Serbia- Perhaps, the rooms can be refurbished, but it didn’t really bother us. - They can build up a proper pier. The current one isn’t solid enough (made by plastic) and it makes it harder to move around. - The Wifi coverage should be further improved. There is no internet connection in the beach and in some remote areas. - A mosquito repellent spray is a must. Mosquitoes are everywhere. - We realized the personnel is overwhelmed with very long working hours. We have seen the same staff working from breakfast till dinner. It must be exhausting. We hope that the hotel management will do something about it.
We loved literally everything about Reef Oasis, especially the food! The cooks and waitresses couldn’t be any better. The staff did everything to make us feel at home. Many thanks, we definitely will be back!

TurkeyAt the dawn and dusk times there can be mosquitos outside it is recommended to use fly sprey. And WiFi at the hotel can't be used in some areas like beach and some remote areas. Also Vodafone connection is not working on the beach, you can try some other operators.
Hotel was very good, beach is perfect full of fish and small reefs, crystal clear water. There are plenty of pools and bars at the common areas. All inclusive also includes alcoholic drinks. Meals were good enough for us. Staff was very good also, they are ready to help always. Special thanks to Mr. Islam at the front desk for creating miracles for us.

TurkeyThe refrigerator in our room was a bit noisy, but it was not a big problem.
First of all, for my child; I looked for a hotel with a sandy beach, a beach and where he could walk to the sea without danger. And when I went to the hotel, I realized that it was a perfect choice. The staff are very friendly, fast and attentive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very successful, the desserts were very varied and delicious. the sea was incredibly beautiful, clean!!! The reefs were hosting a lot of different kinds of fish right in front of you. and you can see them with all its clarity. Even diving boats bring their guests here to dive to show these beauties. If you are afraid of scuba diving, you can see these beauties in the sea with your goggles+snorkel+fins and that's all. We are looking forward to our next visit to this hotel as a family.Every night there is a mini disco for the kids, followed by different shows such as Egypt nights, dance shows, etc.

CyprusSome people might complain about quality of alcoholic drinks, or that no soft drink served in cans but as bulk etc but for me it was ok. As it was focused on Italian customers, the kidsclub was active only for Italian kids. So my 3 years old thoughter was disappointed. Finally, their charge for late checkout is too expensive, so we did not take it. It could have been more convenient...
Beach was excellent, both sandy beach for kids and a beautiful housereef for snorkelling. Rooms were spacious and nice with balcony. The facility was big, maybe too big but there was a coach running circles, so going to beach was not a problem. Food was good enough, food type was designed for Italian taste so applies for most of people (We chose this hotel due to Turkish chef but unfortunately he left before we arrived) The staff at restaurant were very friendly and clean very well. Although kidsclub was not good, the swimming pool for kids was excellent, big and warm...

CanadaThe special cut meat station in the buffet overcooked the meat each night (i.e. the roast, whole duck, roast chicken). There were many alternatives so it made little difference, but it was an unfortunate waste of good quality cuts. The restaurants did not have this issue, just this one station at the buffet.
Staff were always polite and friendly and made every effort to remember you Chose this place for the reef and marine life and it did not disappoint! Food was great

United KingdomPrices charged by the resort. Taxi $20 to the airport. I booked outside taxi for $6. Excursion prices much higher than outside costs. Also trip to Ras el Mohammed was excellent, but the long trip that followed to White Island was a waste of time. Would have preferred a half day to Ras.
The reef was amazing. Food excellent. Staff helpful and friendly.
