Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndiaSome of the Reception staff and restaurant staff are not very friendly and lacked understanding, primarily because of their poor English language skills. Some security staff do not recognize guests who are staying long and ask us to put our bag and other luggage for scanning every time during hotel entry. No help was offered to handle luggage while checking out. Hard copies of invoice and account folios were of very poor print quality. Final invoice does not show dollars paid for easy cross check by customer (only Egyptian pounds are mentioned). TV screen not big enough for better entertainment experience and remote functioning somewhat clumsy.
Room was quite spacious and well lit with good view of the River Nile. Room cleanliness was ensured daily by housekeeping staff on all days except 1 day. Location is quite well connected with Cairo and Giza's tourist and commercial spots. Washroom facilities were quite good and met expectations. Roof top swimming pool and bar was amazing in terms of ambience, music and views and prompt services.

GermanyI asked the rooftop bar for the opening hours and they confirmed 11pm - 1am. however, when a friend from outside and me wanted to take a drink there they refused him the entrance by lying to us that the bar is closed. Other hotels with rooftop bars were more welcoming to non hotel guests, so i cant recommend spending the evenings there!

EgyptThe staff weren't friendly, they didn't feel like they need to smile. There was no slippers in the room and there furniture looked so old.in general I think there is a need to train the staff to deal better with guests.
The hotel looks nice from outside. check in was ok (the receptionist was quite upset and didn't even hand the room key to me) so he gave it to the porter. Check out was fine . the parking fees were good but my car was so dusty.

AustraliaThe bathroom needs a refurbishment as it was old and had mould. Very dated room facilities including the electric sockets which were loose. The day reception staff were not very communicative or friendly and had no manners espcially when asking to print out my flight itinerary they kept me waiting in reception for 20 minutes without informing me if they are printing them or not. The day cafe staff had no idea what they are doing I ordered a cappuccino but took 2 hours for it to arrive as the staff and cafe manager were busy talking and laughing amongst themselves. I had to go ask 3 times to have it sent to me, in which by the time it arrived my airport transfer came so had to leave to airport. I had problems paying anything by card as they did not accept card payment even though its an international hotel. I will reconsider staying here again when I am back in Cairo.
Stayed in this hotel as I had 1 night in Cairo prior to leaving Egypt after my trip in Luxor. The views of the nile and the city were great from the balcony in the room. Not much places to eat close by so you must use taxi as the centre is 20mins away. Bed was comfortable and due to arriving late at night the receptionist at night was very welcoming and professional. The cafe staff at night was very professional and always smiling.
