    “The staff were amazing. So helpful and friendly. The gardens are beautiful and there was a lovely terrace you could sit out on. There is no bar but that is no problem for us. Parking was easy. We got outside the hotel but there is a car park literally up the street if its full. If your looking for modern this is not for you. It is a lovely hotel with a lot of original features. Breakfast included homemade cakes, marmalade and jams. The gentleman was very attentive explaining what everything was. A lot of produce came from their garden. There were roses everywhere. The bed was a double and the room was big enough for us. The shower was good. A really lovely place. If we are in the area again, we will be returning”

    “A great place to stay on our way from Santander to Portugal. Probably the 5th time we have stayed. Very comfortable beds, the food in the restaurant was excellent. They cater for dogs and our old labrador was very comfortable on the bed provided for him.”

    “Everything!!! This place is a little corner of Paradise. Location, staff, food, it's all there. Dinner was simply superb; excellent food, with a fine Rioja , served in the delightful dining room by a dedicated charming waiter. At very very reasonable price.”

    “The bedroom was clean and spacious. The co- owner Griselda was extremely helpful with our check- in procedure, messaging on WhatsApp in English, and giving us access to a secure room to store our bicycles. Breakfast was simple but good value, and the cafe was very bright, new, and clean”
