“The cabin is very cosy and well kept. The owners are simply the best people. The breakfast is fantastic, and they even consider our requests. Their recommendations were fantastic and helpful, they made our trip better. The views of the surroundings are breathtaking. They have a parking spot reserved for guests, so it is very accessible and away from the noise of the city. Did I mention that is a perfect spot for star gaze? Download Stellarium from your phone before coming and you will have a night to remember.”
“The house was not only clean, but extremely comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and had taken time to decorate the house with many interesting features. We loved the old world feel, mixed wth the new. The outside garden, as it blended into the interior of the house, was a special feature. The location was great for walking.”
“Lucas is an amazing host. He welcomed us with a home cooked meal, then left us in privacy to enjoy this beautiful villa. Whenever we needed advice or help, he would answer in WhatsApp in a few seconds. So helpful and kind! I really love the town of San Mateo and the wonderful pastry shop. We stayed there during a cold, rainy spell but when we wanted the sun we could just drive down to Maspalomas and enjoy the sun by the sea. So we had the best of both worlds: cosy, hilly and friendly or bustling, hot and touristy, whenever we wanted we could switch by hopping in the car. My boys fell in love with a wayward, cheeky cockerel that wandered into the garden every so often. We really loved being able to make orange juice from the oranges that Lucas picked from his orange trees in the garden.”
