How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Very good location with lots of nice cafes and food places nearby, as well as only being a few minute walk from the centre. Comfy beds and bathrooms were fine, a real highlight would be the roof top terrace, which had a bar and was such a good spot to watch the sunset over the city

If you are staying at the 5th floor you will be able to hear the music from the bar at the terrace. Kitchen was way to small to fit a lot of people there as there are 5 floors with at least 9 rooms per floor and around 100 people same as the common area that is next to the kitchen

The bathrooms were a bit small and did not have paper towels.
The location is great. I enjoyed the comfortable beds and if I had more time would have enjoyed the sauna.

Prices are higher if you use Booking. I recommend booking through their website.
The staff was professional and friendly. I propose the manager and the owner give them a little raise, even if it is 5%.

More mingling within the hotel.
They helped me with my luggage, eventhough I already checked out. The complimentary churros and coffee in the mornings.

Not the problem of property but had a group of loud French lads come in at 5:30 in the morning, smoking in room, playing music and being very loud. Staff sorted within 15 mins and was very apologetic, hopefully he sees this as we appreciated it.
Beds where comfy and the staff where great.

Overall the stay was really good. There are 2 small points though, that could be improved in the amenities: - All of the beds are in a kind of a box to keep privacy, but they have a whole in the woodwork that is not possible to close and allows too much light inside. - The toilet space could be bigger.
Location is excellent. The kitchen and common areas are really good. The room and bathroom were very clean and staff were kind and attentive.

Only 1 bathroom on my floor, but not that I had to wait when I wanted to use it.
Great location, spacious rooms, comfy mattress, well resourced kitchen and very kind staff. Also clean facilities. You can walk to some attractions close to the hostel.

There's a hole in the bed panel divider that doesn't make any sense. Lights gets right into your face when someone turns on the light. This is the only problem that I faced there.
I highly recommend this place to stay. The most important thing is that everything was very clean. Also the staff were so friendly and helpful there. For sure, I would stay there again.

The shower was one of those that you need to press to have water coming out, kind of annoying to have to press every couple seconds to get a continuous flow of water.
The bed was comfortable, with maximum privacy and I felt safe sleeping at night. The location is top notch, right next to the metro line 1. It also was nice and quiet at night and the staff were helpful. The free guided tour by Wolftours was lovely to discover the history of the city with our tour guide Erika!!

One of the best hostels we have stayed in. The place is modern, clean. The staff are really nice and friendly. The kitchen and bathrooms are small but everything you need, and clean. It's right in the city, close to everything. Providing free churros every morning for breakfast is a really fun addition. They also have tours organised that you can join everyday. We did the old town walking tour and it was great

Almost nothing....the bathrooms were small and could be better organized.
Easy to reach, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, super markets nearby, the area is safe, very centrally situated!!!

i think its not sound proof.. u can here peps talking at the corridor (from the bar)inside your room at night.. but its not that big deal really😊
