We expected to have access to an English-speaking TV channel.

The staff were extremely polite and helpful and were very informative in answering questions regarding the neighborhood, transportation, maps etc. Excellent large, quiet, and comfy room with a view of the river.

window which overlooked the river was too high up to see out! Outdoor terraces were all closed because of the weather (it was fine!). Bar drinks a bit limited and the bar was a bit soulless

The room was excellent with super size bed. Breakfast was a feast,superb .Located next to San Mames Estadia ,was a quiet night then with no match on. Quite close to bus station for further travelling on.

The ONLY thing I would mention is the lack of any English channels, news or otherwise, on the television - not that this mattered hugely, it would have been nice to have kept up with the BBC news. Am sure this is a temporary blip!

My partner and I travelled to Bilbao to compete in the European Triathlon Championships which necessitated taking bikes with us too. The location was perfect for my race starting by the Maritime Museum, we were allowed to store our (clean) bikes in our room and the carpark behind the hotel was ideal too. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh, as was the ensuite bathroom - super nice bedding and towels made us feel both comfortable and relaxed. Breakfast was a Buffet style affair with loads of choice and we ate like Kings (being athletes!) - nothing was too much trouble for the staff and Reception - we couldn't have been made more welcome, despite them being very busy with athletes and a weekend wedding party. On our departure the car had a flat battery - again, two Spanish guys came to our immediate rescue and sorted us out, and we (just!!) made our ferry from Santander in time. They were polite and friendly, and genuinely wanted to get us on the road as we were up against Time.

We had one dinner at the hotel, the choice was very limited and came with no vegetables. we left the table needing more food. Lack of staff around lunchtime in the cafe, meant we had to leave the hotel to get a drink.

Comfortable room, nice size. Off road parking good, but a bit expensive. Great choice of different foods at breakfast.

I had chosen this hotel because of its terrace, its atmosphere, the view and the possibility of dinning outside. This particular weekend the terrasse was completely closed which was really disappointed and we weren't warned at all. If you're booking also because of the terrace you may want to call them I advance to check. Also the car park was not included in the bill (€18/day).

This is a very good hotel with comfortable rooms and beds, nice location, very polite and helpful staff and a wonderful restaurant and breakfast with a nice good variety of teas, juices, milks and even local products very beautifully displayed.

Bathroom a little bit outdated and size of the room on the small side when the sofa was opened for the kids to sleep. Room noisy: we could hear the elevator rings and some conversations in the hallway or adjacent rooms. Parking was not included although part of the hotel and we had to remove our car from it or leave early because the roads around were closed two hours before a soccer game in the stadium nearby. Overall it made it expensive for the value.

Location of the hotel was very convenient. Beds were comfy, room was clean.

Fantastic hotel right beside San Memes football stadium and only 15 mins walk to Gran Via for all your shopping needs, hotel does a great deal of 30 euro per person for breakfast and dinner, both meals were superb, the staff were friendly and courteous, in the reception there was free flavoured water and sweets, I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Bilbao which itself is a beautiful city to visit

The airconditioning in our room did not work very well and the bathroom was a bit damp. The windows could use some fresh paint. Bit expensive for what you get.

We had two double rooms next to each other with great views over the river. The staff was very friendly. Location is very close to the busstation, but quite far from the old town. You can take the metro easily though. Guggenheim and new town are 20 min walk.

The air conditioning didn't really work, even though they tried to fix it. The room wasn't sufficiently cool to sleep well at night.
