The window opened on to a court yard of lots of other windows so it didn't feel comfortable to have it open and there was no real day light

Staff were not there but available by message and were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Comfortable and clean and good location for the Camino

It was very quiet and clean, close to all amenities. A min from the village centre. 5 mins from the Camino trail. Had a small issue with the room door not locking, and it was resolved very quickly. Would stay again.

The night I stayed was terrible. There were two persons making noisy without common sense until very very late. They put the sound loudly and every room can hear clearly. Except that, I am satisfied with everything.

It is a self check-in place. The room is very bright. The staff response quickly and gave me suggestions about restaurant.

The location is good as it is just next to the Camino. This is a self check in GH and the host responds fast. The room is simple but clean.

Small minimalist room. Expensive for what you get, although prices seem to be rising as we get nearer to Santiago. Dark room with small window opening out onto a tiny square with other windows, no hanging clothes rail.

Location was good, not far from the Camino. Friendly communications. Clean room and bathroom.

An odd room layout with a small window onto a small central square. Other windows also opened onto the square making it quite noisy. The TV remote was shared amongst other tools and left in the hallway, so you couldn't use the TV if someone else took the remote. The room only had drawers and nowhere to hang clothes, making it difficult to air out/ dry wet clothes from the day

Good location in the centre of Palas de Rei. Unmanned albergue, but everything works very smoothly with door codes to access keys. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep before the next day on the Camino.

very small room. also you must read the messages they send. there is no one at the property to let you in. they use a lockbox system to get into the property and into your room. the messages have the code to get into the building the number of your room and the code to get the key to your room out of the lockbox

The rooms were a bit small. The shower head didn’t stay in the holder; I had to hold it in my hand the entire time or it would have sprayed water everywhere.

I didn't meet any staff.. it was self check in so no control whatsoever.. my neighbour decided to have a party until 3/4am wit so much noise I nearly went mental.. I tried to reason wit them twice but had no reaction from them.. ot felt like it could of got dangerous .. I had a 29km walk in front of me at 7am so it not only ruined my sleep but made my next day really, really hard... no staff is obviously a saving for d owner but I wish I had somebody to talk 2 besides my pissed , arrogant , couldn't care less neighbours who almost got physical because I complained.. I won't take that risk again wit a non staffed property...

The room was too small for 2 people. There is no place to dry your clothes which is a problem at Camino. The room was cold as the heater stopped working during the night. There were hair on my blanket everywhere (not mine) and the bathroom was too small. I would not stay here again.

very small room. hard to move around the room. 2 hangers. one small hotel size liquid soap for two of us. No shampoos. Didn't feel particularly welcome in that room. We had room 2 which faced the street at the eye level. Bedroom door didn't self-lock when closed. Someone opened our door around 6 in the morning and walked in. Remember to lock the bedroom with the key when you are in the room.

location is easy to find. clean. Likely no bedbug, metal frame beds and sealed mattress covers. good shower.
