The corridors are a bit cold, without decoration, all white. Print outs on the wall telling you about breakfast is not so stylish. No safe in the room. Breakfast was ok nothing special.

We'd have loved to use the pool but unfortunately we had to leave before it opened at 10am.

The staff were really helpful and stored our bikes safely for us. The room was quiet and very clean and the atmosphere of the hotel was calm. The bed was really comfortable.

The absence of a refrigerator in the room and the lack of water or even glasses in the room were very surprising, made more difficult because our stay was in high summer with outside temperatures in the high 30s. These issues are resolvable and I’d urge the management to address these deficiencies which are unnecessary and detracts from the hotels advantages. Additionally the unavailability of wifi in the rooms on the grounds that it would add to the stress of the stay is bemusing. Additionally we arrived on a Monday to find the restaurant closed with no other eating option in the hotel. There is only one other bar in the village open on a Monday where it is possible to find food, so it is very odd that the hotel also chooses to close its restaurant. A very odd decision and annoying.

The standard of accommodation is exceptional. We have watched this property being developed over the years from a dilapidated old building to a handsome and well finished hotel. We had a room with a sizable patio balcony, very large and comfortable bed, efficient ac, large ensuite shower room. The pool is of a good size, well maintained and with a good jacuzzi type feature. The hotel and surrounding garden is very peaceful.

However, under the beds, the floor was extremely dirty as if it had not been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time. The bathroom wasn't extremely clean either. That was the only negative part of our stay.

As a paying customer I find it rather strange that you cannot use any of the facilities after your 12 o'clock check-out. I was asked to leave the pool, even that I checked in later the day before. Also the staff at the reception never asked how my stay was and were not nice in telling me to buggar off after check out. The lack of coffee/tea making facilities in the room and a television with only radio stations is not my preference. There is also no wifi.

Dog mess (a lot!) in the walkway to the municipal car park, which happens to be the only parking available, so be prepared for that. You might get a space in the street outside but as my hubby dropped me off with the bags a spanish resident ran out within two mins ranting at us to move. No facilities in room like kettle, no vending machine and bar/restaurant not open. Receptionist kindly gave hubby a glass of hot lemon water in the morning tho which was kind. You need a car! This is in a remote village of residents

Gorgeous property, clean, modern, nice views (we upgraded to a terrace room) LOTS of dogs staying which is good as we also had a small dog but that meant one triggered the other and ours barked on and off all night which is never known. Staff lovely!

I didn't like the breakfast. I didn't like that there was no choice and it was very basic and not worth the €8. The food was already out in the warm heat on the side before I arrived for breakfast. The orange juice was warm. The only thing that was freshly prepared was the coffee. I also didn't like that you couldn't order any snacks or drinks whenever you liked. The very limited opening hours made this difficult.

I don't think we didn't like anything. The place is idyllic, and we will definitely come back soon and will recommend it to everyone.

There are places that escape the possibilities we have to describe them. Ad Hoc was one of those places - it's one of the most beautiful, relaxing, and realized places I have visited. It is exactly what it wants to be, and sticks to its guns. It's hard not to relax there - tucked away in the corner of a sleepy town of Beniarbeig, washed away by the greenery of trees, with surrounding mountains peeking here and there, it's a very definition of zen. If that wasn't enough, the service was absolutely excellent - and you must try the restaurant downstairs, which is absolutely genius.

Maybe a few more bathroom bits . I realise they are trying to save from waste but I really needed hair conditioner after the pool and a bottle of water in the room would have been great as I don’t think the shops are near and the bar was shut .

The lady at reception was very pleasant and kind . A really lovely beginning to our stay. The room was absolutely spotless . Something incredibly restful about the decor . Maybe all white walls and linen , the beige tiled ceilings . Some decorator has done a great job . The pool is secluded , surrounded by trees and even though there were a few other guests using it , it felt very special . Again , spotless . We also ate in the vegetarian restaurant . My husband was reluctant but we both eat meat and I wanted to try it. Worth the trip to just eat their food . We will be retuning again and again . There was no water in our apartment in Denia so we were forced to stay in a hotel and this was one of the few reasonably priced in August . What a gem ! I cannot recommend it highly enough .

The breakfast was really bad for the price, the parking (street of the town not a hotel parking) is not indicated a few cars on the time I was there end up on a similar situation finishing on a road closed and going reverse for 200 mt. The rooms were noisy from other rooms, and the curtains did not have a set up to dark the room properly, so it was very bright at 7am.
