Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandIt is a little dated. The road are very narrow. They don‘t serve breakfast before 9 am - which was most days too late for us.
The location and the ambiente are wonderful. Lovely breakfast

SwedenI would have appreciated if the breakfast was served a bit earlier, but it was worth the wait :)
My mother and I had a truly wonderful stay at Finca Sa Maniga! It's even prettier in real life and the hosts are super friendly. The breakfast was so delicious and a lovely start to our days in Mallorca, especially with the amazing view from the terrace. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, a bonus for me was the whistling train passing right by the finca on it's way to/from Soller. Highly recommend this place!

Belgiumjust a warning if you come by car, the roads are very narrow to reach the house (like everywhere else in Mallorca), so you better be comfortable driving on 1 lane, narrow country roads.
Loved everything about this place. The location is amazing, set in between beautiful orange/lemon/almond orchards, pastures with sheep and in between mountains. The hosts were the loveliest, took really good care of us. Breakfast was amazing every single morning. Would recommend and we would go back there if we every travel to Mallorca again

DenmarkStunning Finca in very tranquil surroundings! The hosts make you feel like home and like you have a family during the couple of days you stay with them. Every morning for breakfast, which we had on the Terrasse with gorgeous views we were greeted by the family. The breakfast itself is fantastic and plenty and you find everything from fruit, cheeses, meats, yoghurts, coffee and freshly pressed orange juice. Bunyola is a 10min walk away and offers a good amount of restaurants and grocery shops. In the area is also some good hiking. We did the comuna to the peak Penyal D‘honor which was very nice. You’ll also find the train stop for the historic wooden train in Bunyola that takes you to Soller or all the way to Palma. We didn’t do it because we ran out of time, but it’s definitely something we would try if we come back. All in, Finca Maniga is a true Gem, and we can highly recommend it!

United KingdomWe thought there were bicycles to borrow but there weren’t. We thought there was an option of evening meal but they no longer offer this. As we didn’t have a car we walked each evening into Bunyola which wasn’t ideal for my elderly husband.
Beautiful old building with superb views. Large room with bath Good sized pool. Excellent breakfasts on the terrace which is totally peaceful. 15-20 mins walk into Bunyola square and train station where there are a couple of good restaurants.

GermanyThe position of Finca sa Maniga is absolutely perfect. Very centrally located on the island but at the same time in a super quiet spot, away, immersed in nature and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the island. The breakfast was delicious and was the cherry on top, making every day start in the best possible way.

United KingdomJust a small thing but a few more toiletries would be nice such as hair conditioner & a body moisturiser. Also the bottles that were there in the shower didn’t have labels on so no idea if they were shampoo or shower gel. In no way did this detract from our stay but would just be a nice to have.
Loved the location, the owners are lovely & the apartment was beautiful

CanadaOnly improvement point would be to start breakfast earlier; breakfast was served everyday at 9am which is a little late when you want to take advantage a full day and leave early.

United StatesMy only issue was that the check-in process was rather confusing, as the property's remote location and several security gates made it extremely difficult to find. However, the staff responded to our Instagram message rather quickly with instructions on how to get in.
The property was phenomenal. Very scenic landscape all around. Not only was it nestled in the mountains, but the landscaping was breathtaking with flowers and citrus trees lining the property. The family on staff were extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The rooms were huge with breathtaking views from the windows. There was a large breakfast spread every morning with several homemade and local dishes. The pool was beautiful and very refreshing on a hot Summer day.

United KingdomRoad leading to the property is very rough and had potential for damage to our little hire car . Property about 30mins walk to the town square , however there was not much there. We preferred to stay at the hotel or go into nearby soller .
Fantastic place set in beautiful gardens and the famous train passing at the bottom of the garden. Breakfast was fantastic with freshly baked cakes and traditional food every morning. Rooms are very clean with very good facilities. Very quite and peaceful. Helpful and polite staff

SwedenThis place is amazing, and the family owning it even better. I don’t even know where to start. It is magical, great breakfast with small dishes made by the grandma, a cute friendly dog welcoming you and the surroundings are just like a movie. Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 days, and we felt like we were visiting family. There are also plenty of parking spots, a pool and a small town nearby. Our recommendation would be to have a car, as it is the easiest way to get around. The place is nearby beautiful cities like soller and deia, and it was easy for us travel there with car.

The location is fantastic, beautiful and tranquil but also quite close to many Mallorca highlights like Soller, Valldemossa, etc and about half hour from Palma. Bunyola is a nice small town, just 15 min walk, with a number of good restaurants / bars.
