Just a caution about the location link on the booking reservation confirmation which sends past the location into the mountain with no mobile reception. The manager immediately checked with booking about that so hopefully it will soon be corrected and suggested placing a sign with a brighter color outside the property entrance from the main road so that it is more visible. Also there was an additional country side tax which was not indicated on the booking reservation and that was a little confusing.

Filicumis is a very unique and peaceful place, located in the surrounding of the Tramuntana Mountains. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly! We spent a wonderful week there with beautiful view of the blooming almond trees.

In colder periods it might get quite cold inside (there is a lovely fireplace to “fix” this). The dog is young: she might get too excited and jump on kids: super friendly but can push small kids on the hard floor (and lick them =) )

There was no spices in the kitchen other than salt and pepper, so if you want to cook for yourself you have to buy those. Really, that is the only thing we can think of mentioning.

This is simply the most beautiful and quaint old mansion from 1825 which has been tastefully renovated a few years ago. Really spacious and light filled apartments, with high ceilings, a cosy fireplace in the big living room, decent kitchen and super comfy beds. The surrounding scenery with the orange groves framed by mountain formations on the horizon is picturesque and serene - simply a joy to behold and explore. The hosts are super welcoming, helpful and lovely to talk with - we truly felt at ease and relaxed here. Best of best recommendations =)

Nothing!

We loved absolutely everything! It is a very stylish apartment in a super quiet location. I can imagine that even when you come during high season, this place will remain an island of tranquillity. We didn’t manage to turn on the heating first night (our own stupidity) and it was quite fresh inside. but when we did, apartment got really warm and nice for explore by our 10 months old baby. if you left your dog back home like we did (and hoped to have breakfast without those starving eyes around 😃) be assured Costca (I hope to spell the name correctly) will keep you company and ensure your stay feels just like back home. In case we ever go back to the island, we won’t look further! One advice: put coordinates of the place to Google maps when you drive or watch out for sign on the left side of the road. If you don’t and road gets terrible - you’ve passed the place!

We had an amazing stay at Filicumis. Providing future travellers with a review would be the least I can do. :) We travelled as a family (mom, dad and 2 young boys) to Filicumis and felt like we found our paradise. Cay and Rosa were amazing hosts. Welcoming us with open arms, making us feel at home from the first step on the finca. Providing us with everything we needed and helping us find our way on the island with super nice recommendations. Loli's attention to detail and joyful energy made us smile every day again. Her breakfast was simply a-ma-zing. Filicumis is the kind of place you wish you could come back to the second you leave. Traveling as a family can be challenging some times. But at Filicumis there was everything we needed. The baby beds were excellent, there was a high chair for our youngest one, so much space outside to play and explore. Picking fresh oranges and lemons from the trees, gazing at the sheep, climbing in the tree.. we can't wait to be back again. Cay, Rosa and Loli, thank you again so so much for our amazing stay. <3

The only very small improvement would be adding some basic spices to the place, for example oil, salt and pepper for cooking. But we solved this by buying them from the store, so it really didn’t bother us.

Kai and Rosa were the best hosts. Always at our disposal, really friendly, had the best tips to do in Mallorca and helped us practice our Spanish! The property was so peaceful and quiet: a perfect getaway from busy life. The apartments were very spacious, clean and modern. And the breakfast was delicious! Definitely coming back when we’re back in Mallorca!
