The location was great, nice and quiet and only 7 or 8 minutes walk to playa San Juan, lots of barsa and restaurants. The staff were great, always helpful, nice breakfast as well.

The receptionist was not at the hotel at check-in time, so we had to go back an hour later to officially check-in (the key was given to us by a non-English-speaking lady, with whom we could communicate using Google Translate). 2nd floor room, no elevator, very narrow stairs. Thin walls, you can hear what the neighbors are talking about, how they are peeing and bathing. every noise can be heard from the corridor, so it's not very pleasant to wake up to someone stomping down the stairs. water dripping all night from the toilet tank... tiny 140 cm bed. Far from central Alicante (half an hour by bus) but still within zone A.

The breakfast is not a buffet, you can choose one dish from the menu, but the food is delicious. The receptionist was helpful by the way. The lady serving was nice too. The beach is not far, so I recommend the place to those who want peace and not the bustling city center.

On booking.com is no information regarding additional pay due to check-in out of operational recepcion hours. Just after reservation, I got an email with information that due to arrival late, I will pay 20€ for late check-in. That's was fine but the strange thing is that reception was open 24h/7. 🤔 No kettle,tea, or coffee in the room. Penalty charge for eating or drinking in the room.

Great location, close to beach and public transport. Breakfast very simply enough to give you good kick for start your day. Place very clean i tidy.

No internet connection, you can use wifi, but it is not working. Breakfast is from 9:00 am, it is too late when you want to go for a trip. Air condition up on your bed.

Facilities are very unpredictable. There are only 6 sunbeds for all guests to lie out by the pool. When we enquired about this (the staff are lovely) we were told people are welcome to bring chairs to the pool area if they want. We did get two of the six sunbeds on the days that we wanted to but plenty people either had to get chairs/go to the beach and pay for sunbeds/rearrange their days out etc. We had a twin room and it was definitely on the small side but the only real issue was there was no place to hang towels in the room just one small rail in the bathroom which is not enough for shower towels, beach towels and wet swimwear for two people each day. No washing machine (we did not want one or care about this, but it was in the booking as a room facility so I'm just mentioning it in case its important to anyone - some other guests we spoke to did have washing machines in their rooms). Restaurant closes after breakfast and there is no fridge in the rooms - we expected no fridge, but we expected the restaurant to be open for lunch at least - it just meant walks in the heat each day to get lunch because you cant store anything in the rooms. Internet was hit and miss - one iphone and one android. Sometimes you can pick up the network and it works, other times you are 'connected' and nothing. Air con is directly above the bed and is very loud, we chose to leave it on but difficult to sleep.

Relaxed atmosphere, staff were lovely, daily refreshes of towels and cleaning of room etc., aircon worked very well, 5 min walk to the beach and local strip of restaurants, pool onsite.
