The kitchen was small and very poorly equipped. We were leaving the Albergue early before the restaurant opened, but there was no kettle or pot to prepare a cup of coffee or tea.

Nice and clean rooms, there were only four of us in a room for 8 people, which was great, but if it was fully booked, the room would be small. Bathrooms were clean and the whole Albergue had a nice new vibe.

Everything met my needs and there was nothing I didn't like

Very nice location. the albergue was clean and the beds comfortable. I liked that there were lockers for each bed that easily accommodated my backpack. There were 4 bunk beds in the room. My dinner and breakfast were very good, and the servers were friendly and attentive, it was lovely to eat dinner on the patio in the front. The people at the reception were also very friendly and helpful.

Too many beds crammed into the room. Expensive for a hostel. No menu for pilgrims and the food was quite expensive

The location was perfect. It was clean and there was food available in the restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful

There was one shower each for males and females so there was quite a queue to use them at times. The food at the cafe was quite expensive so if you are on a budget take your own food.

There was a cafe right next to it so it was easy to buy food if you needed. The beds were comfortable and it was a short walk off of the path and well sign posted.

At €19 the price is a bit high for an albergue, but I suppose they have to make up for all the Covid losses.

The 8 bed dorm was big, giving plenty of room with access to a balcony. A very clean and modern albergue.

Comfortable bunks, four in a room with a door for quiet and privacy. Really nice balcony outside our room. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, and the kitchen was well supplied and bright. It's nice having a restaurant on site, with a beautiful terrace, but the restaurant is quite expensive. There are other, more affordable places in the town. Otherwise, a nice albergue

More expensive than any other private hostel I stayed in, in Galicia. Despite this there were no curtains on the bed or a Reading Light! A reading light is a basic for the past few years. Also the attached cafe doesn't have a pilgrim's menu despite the place being full of PILGRIMS. I feel this is due to lack of competition from another albergue in Lires.

Clean, central, good bathrooms, good hand washing /drying facilities and has a cafe attached. Well ventilated rooms. Some staff were very friendly while others wouldn't give eye contact to make an order in the busy cafe.

Kitchen doesn't have a stove. The town is remote and I'm not sure if there is a grocery store nearby.

Quiet town. Attached restaurant serves breakfast and dinner (I'm not sure if they serve lunch, I wasn't there at lunchtime). Rooms and bathrooms were decent.

It would have been nice to have a chair for the people in the upper bunkers to sit on and prepare for the night or the next day. Also we could not do our londry in a washing machine like the app said (the information in the camino app)

It was a nice room and we slept well and it was also clean

It would be great if there was an indoor drying room, with a dehumidifier, to help pilgrims/hikers/cyclists dry out boots, clothing & rucksacks etc..... this is Galicia after all & it's well known for it's wet weather. What I really didn't like however is that by booking a bed in a dormitory through this app it cost me €25 but if I'd gone to them directly, the same bed would have only been €15 ..... That really annoyed me.

As a vegetarian who has had to survive on spanish tortilla, plain green salad, fried green peppers or pasta in tomato sauce for my entire Camino, they offered to make me something different, off menu & served me a spread of beautifully fresh, char grilled/roasted vegetables in olive oil.... it may not mean much to some but to me, it was like Christmas! That's customer service 🍷
