Beautifully appointed like a modern home. Only two others in the six bed dorm, neither of whom snored. Quite social with garden setting and dining room (paella/pizza available).

Ventosa has few facilities, so the small 'shop' in the albergue provided the ingredients for the evening meal. The welcome was friendly and helpful.

Restaurants were closed. Only food available was from vending machine. The property is ok. Just disappointed after a long day walking a good meal would have made the body and soul happier

Shower cubicles are so very small compared to the area of the bathroom which is quite spacious. You make do though.

The host was very welcoming and the building was lovely. Nice areas to sit in and garden in nice weather too. Our room (of 3 bunks) was clean and warm and with the door closed it was so quiet.

Bedroom: rather small, 5beds in a room, lack of walking space

Staff: very friendly and helpful Facilities: good kitchen, lovely terrace with cloth line, well equipped laundry room. Since there’s no supermarket in this tour, the albergue has a “mini-mart” selling veggie, microwave food, pasta, wine,, sauce for pilgrim who wants to cook. Reasonable price!

If you're going to stay here, you will need a sleeping bag or at least a liner as only blankets provided. Shower hoses are hand held which is quite challenging!

Perfect location, warm, good to have food to purchase, near to cafes, comfortable beds, we had a room just for 2 of us becauae season just starting.

The timers for the bathroom lights were a little short, plunging you into darkness. Not such a problem in the toilet as you could press the light back on - but not so when you were having a shower!

Comfortable beds in the usual dorm set-up for the Camino. A nice touch to have a little ‘shop’ that people could use, to get a feel for basics for cooking, given the size of the village.

The common space was a little shabby and without much amenity. The town was closed up with few choices for eating.

The location was great and the room was quite comfortable.

The mattress cover does not seem to be cleaned between users. I would definitely prefer a disposable cover even if we had to pay a little extra for it. Bunk beds are the metals ones that are hard on the feet to climb up and very wobbly feeling. No soap at sinks in washrooms.

The backyard space was nice. The availability of a kitchen to prepare food was great. There is a coffee machine in the kitchen you can pay .8 euro for coffee. Handy before an early start. The laundry area and clothes drying area was nice.

They make us leave our hiking poles at the lobby. Somebody took my poles and replace them with similar looking broken poles.
