AC was either too cold or too warm. Wi-Fi connection could be better in my room.

Having to leave!

Absolutely everything! The best hotel ever. The staff were so lovely (especially the lovely Trini), the room was spotless and spacious, the grounds and views were incredible and the (full size) pool a delight. Superb breakfast too - eggs, meats, bacon, tortilla, pastries, fresh fruit, juice. All enjoyed in the terrace with a pool view!

The only slight down side was the noise from a generator that could be heard through the night.

pool was excellent, breakfast was first class , The staff couldn't be more helpful and location was really good for walking around the area. The food in the hotel was of a very high standard.

18 E per day to park. Standard room rather gloomy, not even a decent chair in the room. Too much beige and grey in the corridor and the room. Bathroom not separated with a wall and door from the room....pillows too hard. Not very welcoming.

Garden, swimming pool and public area are exceptional, breakfast excellent. Location superb.

We loved our stay at hotel Alga, it was the perfect place for a family holiday! The hotel was immaculate, the gardens were beautiful, the food was very good - my children especially loved breakfast! My youngest made some lovely friends at the pool, and their families return every year as they enjoy the hotel so much!

Absolutely not enough plugs, so strange there is hardly any to hook up your phone i just did not understand that??? Also pool hours very strange we dont want to wait as Canadians to use the pool at 11 am? the staff still were not there for towels and it closes early as well!

Having used this hotel so often, we were slightly sad that the reception staff were not as friendly as in the past. We also had a cockroach in the bathroom on our first night, not what we expected. We did get it dealt with but first we were offered a move to a room with a restricted view which was never going to be acceptable as one reason we booked these rooms is the view.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it's always lovely to return. Our daughter was 15 months when we first came and she is now 26. We love the hotel and the fact that we have the best of both worlds with the gardens and the pool, yet are so close to the beautiful little coves too. We loved swimming in the sea and the pool and did so daily. The proximity to the centre of Calella de Palafruguel is perfect too with great restaurants and walks along the wonderful coastline.
