The rooms are on the smaller side but as we weren't spending a lot of time at the hotel this wasn't an issue

A bit noisy in the night, but we had selected a street facing room so that was our fault, they have lots of rooms that do not face the streer

I noticed on the reviews I read before booking, that some people found the building noisy (not the area). It true that it is not a 4 star hotel with all the insulation etc, but it was quite easy to hear what was being said in the ajoining room. There are also many people who simply don´t know how to close doora quietly! This was made worse due to the echo in the building. I was in a single room so I was only a little disturbed, however, had I been with my partner, it would have been much worse!

Room was super clean, location was excellent and everything worked well.

Occasional waits for shared bathroom which involved walking through the reception area for us. Bit of a walk to station for bus or train.

Superb location in Alicante old town. Easy walking access to everything of interest. Great value for money, loved the balcony and the room was a good size and comfortable enough. Didn't get bothered by noise during our stay. Very close to the beach.

Having a shared bathroom was okay especially because it allowed our stay to be more affordable. My only problem was there was no indication that a different person was in there. It was fun in a way because it was like a game but also not great if you’re tired and need a shower.

Amazing, just amazing, we were here for 5 nights and there was no shortage of activities to do, additionally the staff are awesome and very welcoming. Finally the location is perfect, so close to so many good restaurants and if you want to climb to the castle, it’s just up the road. Not to mention there are items you can borrow during your stay, and a fridge! being Feb we just used some beach towels as a picnic blanket. Thank you for having us and see you next time!

Very good location for sightseeing. The beach and promenade also in 5 minutes away. The owner and her employee were very nice and helpful. I can only recommend this guesthouse

There is no elevator, in case you bring with you heavy luggages.

It is very centric without being too loud. I was expecting a noisier neighborhood but eventually it was not the case. The room was small but cozy, with all the bathroom essentials and access to a main common area where you have a microwave and a fridge.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Right in the heart of the main square. Beach a 5 minute walk. The bus brings you 5 minutes from accommodation from the airport. Lovely host. Beautiful balcony double room. Extremely clean. In the heart of all the hustle and bustle. Tram Station a few minutes away. Great value for money. I would highly recommend this place

A bit noisy at night but we new that when we booked

Room well decorated, so clean, very helpful friendly staff, decent new hair dryer, 4 different drinking vessels . Felt like it was a home from home

We were warned it could get noisey on weekends, and yes it did. We prepared by buying some ear plugs, and we slept perfectly well.

Great area of town for all major sights and transport to nearby towns. Room was on the small side, but not a problem for us. Big bathroom that was very clean and very new. Bed was comfortable. Use of communal kitchen with allocated fridge space was a nice bonus. Balcony was small but nice to have.

Apart from the quality of the services provided, cleanliness of the room, comfortable bedding, exceptional location in the city, fridge and microwave in the reception..., I really appreciated the kindness and care given by the owner Caroline. I could clearly feel her sense of detail, welcoming attitude and real pride for her business. I'd definitely recommend the simplicity of Pensión Alicante for your next stay in sunny Alicante.

Owner super friendly and helpful. There is fridge and other convenience in the lobby for use. Hotel situated close to all the restaurants and bars. A very pleasant stay indeed.
