Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United Kingdom-food was average, large selection and different most days. -only 1 restaurant for such a big hotel, sometimes the restaurant was soo overcrowded, wasn't nice environment to enjoy a meal in. - lunch was only available at the pool bar. -quality of the evening entertainment varied alot , some of the evenings it was poorly organised others the entertainment was good, we only found the entertainment because we spoke to other people in the hotel. - our air conditioning absolutely stunk so only use the fan in the bedroom most of the time.
-Selection of pools, plenty of sunbeds. -staff were friendly -clean towels each day - large rooms, comfortable beds. -kids club everyday - activities throughout the day -fairly good variety of drinks -no limit on the amount of drinks you could order at once

United KingdomThe food was average. We ate out elsewhere for most meals as the choice available wasn’t to our taste. We found it to be heavily catered for Spanish guests, not English like ourselves. This is obviously quite irritating when we had paid for All Inclusive. Also many dishes weren’t labelled, so we weren’t always sure what we were eating (this is concerning for those with any allergies or dietary requirements, ie spring rolls which weren’t labelled and contained meat, for a non-meat eater). The food was more or less the same every day, with the odd dish being changed - but it all felt very same same and we got bored of what we did eat there. All inclusive service ends at 11 PM. Only water (out of a dispenser machine, not bottled) is available after this time. Otherwise drinks will need to be paid for. We found this ‘All Inclusive’ to be ‘Not Quite All Inclusive’. There is no room service available. When paying for our booking on arrival, we clicked to pay in GBP instead of EUR. Lesson learnt as it charged us an extra £70 because the hotel’s bank provided had a poor exchange rate. We could have stayed for an extra night at this rate! Perhaps the hotel should make guests aware of this as it’s quite a lot of money to lose. Many members of staff have a very limited understanding of English, which can make it hard to express your needs or concerns. Overall, we had a nice stay and may even return one day. However this would be on a self-catering basis, not all-inclusive, as for us it sadly wasn’t good value for money given how much money we spent eating out.
The apartment was spacious and perfectly adequate for the two of us. It had a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel with the sea in view and a window to the rear overlooking the middle of three swimming pools. The cleaning team attended daily and replaced the toilet roll. The maintenance team were quick to help when the toilet flusher broke. The pools are fantastic and the addition of a slide for both children and adults were enjoyed. All were kept very clean and we had many hours of fun. The hotel is in a relatively quiet location, but isn’t far aware from excursions and restaurants. This was our preference over the more party zones of Tenerife, though I think it was a more expensive area on the whole as a result. As far as scenery is concerned, I don’t think you could ask for much more. The outdoor pool areas are surrounding by the black cliffs; it almost doesn’t look real. Absolutely beautiful.

LithuaniaVery busy at breakfast, long queues for omelet etc. It's a family hotel with a full board so expect a lot of children and loud people just drinking and eating all day. Receptionist was strict about the check-out time and wouldn't allow extra hour - i was offered to pay extra 30eur and stay until 6pm, while i was just interested in 1 hour allowance due to my transport.
Loved the room! It's a spacious apartment with super comfy bed. Enjoyed my terrace and the pool view. Great animation in the evening. I stayed for 1 night due to location and value for money before heading to the different town.

ItalyLow quality of drinks, lack of silent areas and the heated pool is not so heated. Some more outside sports facilities would be nice. The welcoming was not the best.
Breakfast was fine! Dinner was not the best and snacks are fine, but nothing special. The room has a small kitchen, but they don't provide things to wash what you use. That would have been a nice addition.

United KingdomThe Allegro Isora is a very well managed and friendly apartment hotel. The staff at reception and in the restaurant go out of their way to accommodate requests. We had a one bedroom apartment with a large sofa bed in the living room and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool in a quiet area. There are basic cooking facilities but I guess most people will eat their meals in the restaurant. We only had breakfast but it was superb with so much choice and variety. All public areas seemed very well maintained and very clean. We were able to park for free in a street behind the hotel and walk into town where there is a good variety of bars and restaurants.
