Fabulous eclectic and cared for hotel with only 6 rooms - hosts were very friendly. Breakfast great. Loved the honesty bar. A little piece of paradise.

The hotel is located at the top of a hill, and is a 20 minute walk into Altea, so quite a steep walk to get back.

What an amazing place! Our room was very spacious, we also had a huge balcony with sun beds that I got to enough both in the evening and in the morning. Breakfast was delicious, especially house cheesecake and jams! Location is great as well, just a short, maybe 15 min walk to the old town

Was a bit tricky to find (even using GPS)

Room was terrific - comfortable, quiet, clean with a beautiful outside seating area. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to our preference. Expansive garden with so many quiet and sunny spots to just relax. Pool was inviting and also had great areas to relax. Staff were friendly and engaging. On-site no-cost parking was a bonus

The only thing I would improve was the shower. You got boiling hot water and water with ice cubes within seconds

Being there is literally like paradise. Immediately when you walk in you feel the warm embrace of kindness. The whole house and garden is made with an eye for detail. Beautiful views from every angle of the garden, a gorgeous pool and lots of hang- out space. The rooms are comfortable with a super nice enterior. It’s a quiet place as well, no disturbing noise from the street. The private parking helps a lot and is spacious. The beautiful town Altea can be reached in 15min by feet. The wifi is accessible from every place, also in the garden. Helps a lot when you need to do office work. Breakfast has everything needed.

Location is a little bit out of the way, but taxi service was very reliable and affordable. Probably won't leave the hotel much when we go back in the summer though.

The name Paradise is perfect for this little oasis tucked away in the hills. The care and maintenance to the garden and surroundings is a credit to everyone there. Staff were friendly and helpful, couldn't have done more for us. Will be going back again soon!

Hotel Altea Paradise 1917 is located just outside the city of Altea. The center is about a 15min walk away with various restaurants and shops nearby. The property benefits from its own carpark and is in quiet location. The room was clean with a comfortable double bed and we had an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Towels were changed daily and the bed made every morning. The breakfast was delicious. You get eggs and pancakes made to order and a variety of breads and cakes. There is a ham and cheese platter and fresh tomato salsa. We stayed during the orange season and were offered fresh orange juice from oranges grown in the garden The garden is what really makes this property stand out. There is a swimming pool (we stayed in March so haven't used it), and multiple areas to sit and relax and enjoy the views.

The room was nicely prepared for us. To mention also the very clean and lovely decorated house. The pool area and the great garden have many places to relax. Also the breakfast was prepared fresh with a good selection daily. Its definately a paradise place to chillout, relax surrounded by nature and nice view. The owners did everything to make our stay enjoyable as possible. The staff was amazing friendly.

The name speaks for itself the place is indeed a tranquil paradise but it's only a 12 minute walk to a delicious restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.
