Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainWe felt it was a little ruined by the school children running riot in the hotel and around the pool, we did see somebody complain to one of the monitors who didnt seem to be much older than the children, and obviously could not control these children. obviously they were here for their whitsun half term break and if we had realized we would have chosen a different week
plenty of comfortable sun loungers, views excellent on both sides, food plentiful especially lunch. Bar service very good.

SpainNot worth the extra money paying for a room with a view of the medals looking across a road and a closed down commercial area.
Very relaxing break hotel is right on the beach so ideal location if looking for somewhere to unwind. Outside of the hotel aside from the beach not much going on so bear this in mind if you're looking for more than relaxing by the pool or on the beach. Food had plenty of choice all inclusive is a must for soft and alcoholic drinks with the pool bar open til midnight. Entertainment was good too.

The food was brilliant! There were options for everyone. The option of pool and the 2 beaches was lovely. Great entertainment and loads for kids to do.

United StatesNo hotel free parking. There is no width space for 2 cars in front while checking in or out. Breakfast has many choices, but some of not good quality: - Fruit is mostly canned, - Bacon is cooked in oven, making it all greasy and not entirely cooked. - Juice is not. This a machine that pours some sweet stuff with the color of fruit. - glasses and silverware not well cleaned The walls are not soundproof. We were not able to watch TV at night because the person in the room next to us kept banging on the wall until I turned the TV off. - 2 single beds together to make a full bed.
Friendly staff Clean room Nice bar/beach area Well maintained

United Statesthe room was spacious and clean with a walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable. We also used their washer and dryer since we had traveled for several days and needed some clean clothes. The washer came with detergent and was 4 Euros and dryer was 3 Euros. We liked they had daily activities and in the evening, we enjoyed Bingo and Karaoke night. Staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay. The All Inclusive package was a great touch. One day we missed lunch and walked next door to a great Italian restaurant for pizza. Overall great stay.

The
United KingdomFood is possibly the biggest issue. Catering for so many people cannot be easy and it did not feel like a restaurant but a works canteen at times. It was not relaxing. Too many people wandering about with plates of food or glasses of drink. Too many people (mainly German) pushing into front of queues or ignoring "no entry" signs at buffet and/or grabbing food over your shoulder or generally going the wrong way so they could get to the food quicker. No manners. Buffet food was generally not very hot (only slightly warm), unless you are first into the dining hall. Repetitive choices especially deserts which were always fruit, yogurt/mousse and small cake. Aircon not operational in room and neither in lounge/dance hall. Maybe its never switched on in May. But was very warm so would have been nice.
The location of the hotel is excellent with views from the Mar Menor side that are hard to beat. All the staff were super attentive, from reception to entertainment to restaurant and bar staff and cleaners, they all try very hard. The room 918 was good overall. The bathroom was clean and looked very new, like it had had a recent refit. The pool area was very clean and attractive with good access to small beach and the bar. Food: Some great fresh hot food cooked for you at the hot plates. Omelettes, fish, meat, Wok etc Good evening entertainment if you wanted it even in low season.

United KingdomPoor internet connection, the gym was basic, and hidden in some basement corner. They really missed the jackpot to make an amazing open gym with sea views.
Amazing sunset views of mar menor, the room was nice and clean. The stuff was helpful and spoke good English. WiFi and the gym were rubbish :D other than that a lovely stay. Breakfast was quite simple but tasty.

CanadaThe hotel could use some more updating like carpeting in the halls and there were some maintenance issues like roof leaks in multiple areas and broken lounge chairs on the beach.
Our room had a beautiful view of the Mar, pool and strand. The beds are comfortable memory foam and a good size. The hotel has a great location overseeing the bay and you can walk across the street to stroll on the very long beach on the sea side. Parking on-site was handy for 10eu. The buffets were decent. This could be a first class hotel if a few maintenance issues are taken care of.

SpainLifts - with my husband and daughter`s mobility problem - my husband has a small mobility vehicle -- trying to get into a lift to go up and down sometimes took up to 20/30 minutes and sometimes it was just due to the kindness of people that my husband could get into a lift. People with babies in pushchairs had the same problem. Maybe one lift with special access could be available at busy times?

United KingdomOnly one restaurant and it was a bit of a free for all. Breakfast was repetitive and not a lot of variety.
Great location for the beach, and everyone seemed to prefer the pool so there were always loungers free. Comfiest bed I think I've ever stayed in!
