Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

CanadaIt’s very noisy, so noisy that it’s hard to sleep. Rooms facing towards the beach, can hear the loud music playing until 11PM.
The hotel is located on a lovely cove, if you arrive early, you can find parking. The parking is very tight - for those coming from North America. Rooms are clean, large. Hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast options are plenty.

United KingdomThe food quality was okay, but expected more for the price, was also quite noisy in the outside area with the dishes clearing area right in the middle. Drinks were also average but as an all inclusive hotel this is not surprising. Would have appreciated a full length mirror in the room, could only use the bathroom.
Great location, right on the beach and a short walk to supermarket. The room was spacious, clean & modern - it was cleaned very well every day. Lots of spots to sit in the sun around the pool and on the beach!

United KingdomCheck in was really poor. I did not receive the “personalised” check in as listed, the person on the desk rapidly rambled through all the restaurants on site with their opening and closing times and gestured to where they were in the dark outside (it was 10pm). It’s not possible to remember 6 different restaurants etc - no flyer, no takeaway info, I only found out about the app by chance! They didn’t mention any of the queries I had submitted online before, and the Favourite Club desk is not manned after 9pm. I was told to move my car to the other building - with directions of “turn left, turn left, turn left” no signposting - it was dark, not clear where to park! Also, this is just for info - the sun beds are on a public beach and cost €30 to rent for the day, also about half the spirits/cocktails are not included for all inclusive.
The rooms are really spacious and modern and the sea view is lovely to wake up to. The Nespresso machine in the room was a welcome touch, and the welcome wine was very tasty! The staff thoughout the hotel are brilliant, especially Juan at the Favourite Club bar, always smiling, always helpful! Housekeeping are also worth calling out as very very good- my room was always immaculate after a clean! Also Alexandra on the Hyatt desk is extremely helpful, professional and well informed. She gave me some great tips for a road trip to the mountains - don’t miss a day to Soller/Deia! The Favourite Club sun loungers and chairs are comfortable and peaceful, and you can usually find a seat any time of day. The food is alright too, the breakfast at the Favourite Club was especially nice…

SwitzerlandOverall our stay was pretty great, only negatives is that drinks are not served at the pool/beach, it is self-service at the bar, and dinner time ends quite early in my opinion, as it closes at 21:30pm.
Very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Everywhere you look is very well designed and beautiful. Food and drink options were also good.

BelgiumFood quality was ok but we expected more from a place like this. Very hard to find a reservation at hotel’s themed restaurants. However, there is always the option for the common restaurant which is still positive.
Beautiful beach with clear water, various locations to chill and hang-out, daily room service, towel service (with a deposit)

United KingdomI’d have give 10/10 bar some confusion with a late check out, we were told we get a 3pm check out as standard with the ‘my favourite club’, that wasn’t the case, we had to check out at 12.

GermanyThe soundproof is quite bad in the room, you can clearly hear what you neighbors are saying Most hotel staffs don’t speak and understand English, the communication could be difficult but they are friendly and nice. If it’s cold outside during the dinner time you might have to be there when dinner starts otherwise you have to wait for a long time to get a table inside and they don’t have blankets or something to keep you warm in the outside area of the buffet restaurant
The location is great, though it’s quite complicated to get there from the airport if you are not taking the shuttle service. Once you get there, you have all you need in the neighborhood (supermarkets, restaurants, cosmetics shops…) The buffet is great, they change the menu almost everyday especially the dinner, the food tastes great and the quality is good The entertainment offers are great, you have a private beach with less people, you have a swimming pool, which is daily cleaned, you have good bars and you can also enjoy the sauna and spa

United KingdomIf it hadn’t of been for the following issue, our 3 night stay would have been perfect, however, we ended cutting our stay short by one night. It’s important to note for anyone planning on staying, that the hotel has live entertainment every night down by the pool. The volume is so loud that I can’t see how any guests in either of the hotel buildings (plus the local residents) could not hear it! It goes on until 10.30pm each night. There is nothing wrong with a hotel providing this service, but it is not advertised anywhere on booking.com or their website that we could see. Had we known, we probably wouldn’t have chosen to stay there. If you want to stay up late drinking each night, then you’ll be fine, but if you want a quiet relaxing evening, then this is not the place for you. The staff were very understanding (it was obviously not the first time they’d had this complaint) and were happy to offer us a transfer to another hotel within their group (however, they warned us that the set up might be the same) or they would refund us the remainder of our stay and we found another place to finish our holiday, which we did. Be warned.
The small beach cove that sits between the hotels is lovely. Very small and calm waters. The larger pool area (the round shape pool) is very relaxing, looking out over the cove with relaxing music playing over the sound system at a low background volume. The staff were very good and attentive if we had queries (there was just one grumpy chef).

United States- The hotel has two buildings: the main one where the reception is and the second. Our room was in the second building, which is a bit quieter. But you need to walk a few hundred meters to the main building if you want to get anything like breakfast, coffee, etc. - During our stay, I asked for a bottle opener, and I was told they could not provide it, and that I needed to walk to the main building, find a waiter there, and ask for it. - There was some kind of "private club" in the building where we stayed. Only members of it could use amenities in that building. We were surprised we needed to pay around 20 EUR per person per day to join it. It was very inconvenient. - Overall it doesn't feel like you stayed in a 4-star hotel. Seems like it was nice maybe 5-10 years ago, but now it requires refreshments.
- I liked the breakfast very much, it was a buffet with a huge variety of options - They had some kind of entertainment every night, which was fun - Convenient access to cala, and seaside view from the room

IrelandIf you're not a fan of the all inclusive vibe then this hotel is probably not for you. A very busy hotel and pool area. The favourite club aspect of the hotel felt a bit 'us and them'. The quiet 'chilled vibe' of breakfast in the favorite club breakfast vs the 'busy busy' vibe off the standard area felt like it highlighted what you were missing.
Staff were very good. Breakfast well stocked and presented. Rooms spotless and got a fantastic sea view!
