Nothing to improve

Awesome family run cozy pension. We looked for convenient location to visit Rioja vineries and Logroňo tapas and this was it. Surrounded by picturesque mountains with slowly flying birds of pray. Otherwise in whole village there were less than twenty inhabitants. The pension has got small but great pool, one can play basketball just being in the pool. The hosts - father and young son take care of all the guests, preparing good personalized breakfasts or bringing you beverages to the pool area. All the apartments had great, unusual design, relative to Anahuasca impressions.

The property exceeded my expectations, it was incredible! The owner went above and beyond to make the stay magical! He provided excellent suggestions for visiting the area, and his breakfasts were delicious! I would come back in a heartbeat ❤️❤️

There were flies in the room because the window was left open (we just sprayed them, it wasn't a big deal) and there was dust in some places of the room.

The decor of the room and the whole place in general. There were little details everywhere. Also Mimi was super nice and sweet. The breakfast was amazing and the view from the room stunning, plus there are lots of things to do in the area.

This is a truly crazy place , in a good way! The pool is amazing, the views of the mountains are awesome. The hosts where wonderful, the room we stayed in was a work of art and just made me smile. The room was huge with table chairs, sofa's jacuzzi bath with disco lights, a room in the ceiling, I could go on and on about this quirky gem. We had dinner and our Son can be a little food fussy, Mimi said he would make him anything he wanted which was so kind. If you have children and want to stay in a magical place then stay here, you will not be disappointed!!

Amazing location and truly unique decor. The owners couldn’t have been any more friendly and helpful despite us I’m ashamed to say not speaking Spanish. They were fabulous. The family suite had stunning views and everything you could possibly need.

it was a truly amazing experience. the decor is an interesting mix of styles. our room was well appointed with a disco light show in the bathroom! we had a lovely terrace overlooking the beautiful pool all very clean and loved the horse head fountain. if that’s not enough the food was delicious. it is very laidback and the owner and Harold were exceptionally kind and helpful.

Brilliantly different hotel with a fantastic host in a stunning location

The only reason why I give a 9 as a rating and not a 10 is the location. If you want to do wine tasting, you are a bit far (50min car) from Haro and Laguardia which are the main hubs of wineries. Also, the place is on a National road which has a bit of traffic (therefore you wake up hearing a car passing and not the birds singing). If you want to do some trekking, the location is very good (close to several routes). But the noise from the road is still there.

It's very simple, the place is funny. Crazy decorated by the owner over the years. A lot of personality. You can like it or not. But what really stands out is the host, Mimi. He is great, likes what he does, is helpful. Breakfast is great. Mimi cooks awesome eggs and squeezes you fresh orange juice with some pan tumaca on the side. Whatever you came to the Rioja for, Mimi can give you some good advice on stuff to do. We followed a couple of advices he gave and enjoyed the experiences.

A television in the room would have been nice, but otherwise there is nothing I didn't like.

A very unusual and unique hotel. The decoration is a work of art. Located in a beautiful area of countryside and very easily accessible from the main road. The staff are very welcoming. I ate dinner there, which was really good.

Really nothing. Only to mention that if you are in the upper rooms you have 2 sets of stairs . Also ideally you need to take your own towel for the swimming pool.

Arriving to this place was totally by chance … and after the 3 days there I am convinced it will be difficult to find another place as special and where you are taken care of in such detailed way . The terrace w the swimming pool and the good music at night . The great breakfast. The views from the window.

The place is by a main road with some heavy truck traffic. You can't really hear the traffic with windows closed, though. Also, WiFi is a bit patchy

Excellent treatment and attention given by the host , who obviously cares about the place and about ensuring guests have a great stay. The apartments are quirky, adding personality to the place. The pool is a bonus if travelling with kids. A great stay.
