The location in wonderful countryside is ydillic. The building itself beautiful, the rooms comfortable, and the restaurant exceptional. Even more amazing were the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Lovely historic property. Staff were lovely and helpful and the food in the restaurant good. We were walking the Camino del Norte and initially worried at the 1.5km walk from town to the hotel but it was a lovely flat paved walk next to a stream and having a restaurant on site meant we could relax in the evening and not have to walk into town

Breakfasts breads ,nothing cooked but this is Europe .

The dinner was better than i was expecting from Pizzas to steak . Service was great and executed well as they were short on staff.

Better pillows

Loved the property, the hosts were great. Rooms were clean and spacious. We had a delicious dinner. They is a nice trail along a creek that leads back to the Camino.

If on the Camino; this is not super close to the route and the walk is up a main road. That said it is safe and is a really nice place.

Really cool and hip building, with nice products on sale. Loved my room which was clean and tidy and safe. The staff were friendly, the food looked delicious (I are in the town itself with friends) and the lift was v helpful. Wish I had spent more time

The windows should have blinds or not transparent curtains. Too much light in the room early in the morning.

Perfect place. Very very friendly staff. We loved it. We stayed after a walking tour at El Camino and found all thr comfort and service we needed.

Place was perfect

Beautiful property and excellent location but what made the hotel really special was the staff. Anna and Ainsley were the best they were obviously moving to help so many of us but still maintained a friendly and professional attitude. The kitchen staff did a wonderful; job with the food quality and getting everything out quickly.

The blinds in my room needed repair and would not open so made the room dark.

Friendly staff and welcome. Nice room with comfortable bed. Good lunch. Breakfast was waitress service with hams, cheese and toast. Lovely old mill with central area for relaxing then accessing the rooms. Take a concrete road off the camino to Extebarria rather than longer route via Markina and back.

Fabulous hotel. Great design and nice atmosphere. Rooms were massive and had jet showers which was a big bonus after long tiring day of walking. Friendly English speaking staff was a great addition also. Good restaurant . We were leaning very early , so breakfast was prepared for us on request, no problem with it.

Super loved our stay.. a beautiful old stone building with a modern incarnation as a stylish hotel, lovely staffs, good restaurant.. very comfortable stay, everything was clean and in perfect working order, and the one night here was a nice respite while walking the Camino del Norte.. a bit off the path after a long day, but not anything to worry about. Would happily recommend to others

A cooked breakfast option such as omelette would have been great, but what was on offer was very well presented.

It’s old world character and charm, as a centuries old building converted to a wonderful comfortable hotel. The conversion work was very sympathetic to the character of the original structure and very professionally finished. The staff led by Anna were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The dinner was excellent as was the breakfast.
